Autumnal Scotland | The Jacobite - October 2019

Autumn Steam in the West Highlands. Full coverage from the ever popular final week of West Coast Railways 'The Jacobite' regular steam service between Fort William and Mallaig from Monday 21st - Friday 25th October 2019. Multiple angles catch the 45407 'The Lancashire Fusilier' (sporting appropriate Scottish blue number plates) taking the honors across five days of chasing.
Locations through the week as follows;
Monday: Corpach, Glenfinnan departure, Beasdale, Arisaig
Tuesday: Fort William
Wednesday: Loch Eil Outbound, Glenfinnan Station, Glenfinnan departure, Beasdale
Thursday: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan departure, Loch Nan, Beasdale Station, Morar
Friday: Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan departure, Beasdale, Morar
Turn up the volume and enjoy the incredible combination of Steam, The Autumnal West Highland Scenery and a light dusting of snow!

    Nice to see it not disguised as something else. I love the shot of it departing Fort William at 4:20, with the steam billowing in the wind.

    "Please Use the Station Help Point for Train Information" says the very helpful and no doubt very expensive information display at Beasdale. That'll be the thing that's covered over with a plastic bag will it, Scotrail?
