I love seeing the progress made by our awesome kidlets! My autism princess tried a hair wash at the stylist’s for the first time two weekends ago. She sat, put her head back, allowed the water for a hot minute, then said no. We stopped and let her get up. No wash, but a happy girl and a positive haircut experience!

I have a funny feeling that sooner rather than later, Johnny will only be going to the barber shop with Nicky so he can get free pizza and eventually the only reason dad will be going is to fund said haircut and pizza because Nicky deserves some free treats! Good job guys, it wont always be as easy but what you've learnt is that it wasn't always going to be as hard as it once was either. Only Nicky knows how certain triggers will affect him and even then it's a case by case scenario. To anyone in this situation, bide your time, keep practicing and learning together and one day you'll find the key to getting your person a haircut and it will just be the right time with the right situation. You've got this!

Thanks so much Jessica. We've decided to put out 3 videos a week and live stream 2 times a month. We want to try Giving folks a little time in between episodes. Your welcome and I had a good day today but yesterday i had a very bad day and I just broke down in tears and I deal with depression 24 /7 every day and I am on meds for it and also with covid it makes it worse but I am glad to be put on strong meds for it and I am happy now thanks for u guys sending me a message back.

They're are ways that can help with getting haircuts when autistic but it can be hard and even after but if there ways to make it easier and its as overwhelming for you than that grate
