Hi, does this scanner have the ABS auto bleed function to run the ABS motor?

Questions I have a Mini that I can’t start most likely cuz the car don’t recognize the key. I got the AP200c assuming that I can program a key fob however in the service tab don’t have IMMO key option so I’m thinking of getting the AP200. I can’t put my car in standby or anything of the sort will it still work if car isn’t on?

I already have an Autel TPMS scanner, but I need to do a few IMMO fobs and maybe keys and I seen another video showing this device doing that. Now as far as initial selection. My Truck is a GMC Canyon, my daughter's car is a Chevy Cobalt. I have heard that if you select GM, to will get GMC, Pontiac, Chev, Cadillac, Buick etc. I'd that correct?

Had this for over a year along with worth wow and vcds , nice to turn off stop start . The Ap is very good but but has a lot of repeat data . As I found out when trying to diagnose my Sprinter in the middle of a park with no internet access, and which was confirmed by the vendor, you need internet access or it won't work. They have no workaround so you're unable to even get codes.

I got one for £48, it took my Volvo out of limp mode by force regen of DPF. What a bargain! If I was being picky I'd say shame it won't work as a standard obd scanner for Torque app etc, I'd like better graphing and display ability

4:40 That's $22/yr per brand/model. So why wouldn't I just buy another $60 Autel AP200 for another vehicle and get a lifetime registration? 🤣

okay so the 1st one free and unlimted but if you buy more they are good for only 1 year and 22 each each.... but what im more confirming is after year it wont ask me for more money on the original

Not vehicle, but Brand. So ALL Ford, or ALL Vauxhall, etc.

Do you have to pay every year in order for this OBD reader to work ? If you dont pay does that still work ? Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan for Fuel Pressure ? And can this do compression test ? Is this a Complete diagnostic Scan tools ?does it Scan from 1996 cars going up ? How about Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl or Buick Park Ave 2003 3.8 Liter does it Scan these cars ? Does this scan for battery ignition parameters ?

Yes, one you bend over and get it dry, and the other lubed up well

Good video. Says it has EPB service menu. Does this include rear caliper rewind for replacing pads & discs? I ask because some of these tools open the EPB, but don't necessarily rewind the piston fully. Autel customer services weren't helpful unfortunately with this question. Their answers were a bit "woolly" at best.

I just recently bought this tool mostly for the rear break job. So far I've pretty much only cycled through the menu but tried out the EPB function and the app has the option for pad change. The dash also said the calipers were in service position for a pad change when I selected it. I'm planning to do the actual job next week. I'll try to remember to update you with how it went :D

Successfully changed pads for Hyundai Ioniq Electric. Procedure as follows: Ignition on > Select pad change from the app and leave app running (pistons wind back) > Ignition off > Do the job as you normally would (pistons can be pushed back by hand now) > Ignition on > Hit ok on the app > Wait for the system to run the pistons in a couple of times and it's all done.

I don't understand one thing. can I read a car for which I have not purchased the software? what exactly do the Demo and Eobd options do?

Eobd works on any car, no software purchase is needed.

Thanks for the in depth info I really need a reader that will not charge me an extra $22 per car manufacturer I need. I have a Mitsubishi and Saturn, my sister a Honda, my father a ford and Mercedes, my other sister has a Toyota and Hyundai. So this is not for me, unfortunately.

Great piece of kit. I’ve got one. Used it on a Mazda. Going to use it on our mini next to register a new battery.

@@mabuthomkhize9491 yes. Battery registration was straight forward. Just make sure the all the software is updated on the device before starting.

Autel is a Chinese company.

Not every function is supported on every car .i got it just to bleed breaks on a 04 Toyota but it's not able because of the ecu

Why not buy directly at Autel?

So, I'm guessing this wouldnt be great if I wanted it to view multiple vehicles? I'd have to fork out approx €20 for every manufacturer I view, pity.

Just to finish my previous comment. It has been over 2 months since reporting my problems to the Autel dealer and nothing has happened...

If you purchase 2 dongles Can you register 2 dongles to get 2 different manufacturers please?

I would think it'd be cheaper to buy the other car manufacturers software and one dongle. But maybe I'm misunderstanding what your asking.

The reason I asked is that we always seem to have a Porsche and a Nissan so that the cost of having to pay for the other brand would work out more than the one off cost of purchasing 2 dongles with free life time updates. At the moment we have a R35 Nismo and a Cayenne GTS.

@@itsinthedetail9093 sounds like you've got this under control. I have the same issue actually cause I have a Chrysler and Chevy. I guess just make sure you label the dongles so you don't constantly mix them up. My dongle cost me 75 on sale and the software is 21.99 but that's only for a year if I remember correctly.

Do not buy this from Amazon. They have already used it and have it sent back to them and reselling it. That is what happened to me. It did not work for me because Amazon head repackaged it after somebody already bought it and re-sold it.

Every company is now a chinese company....they make everything!!
