Car model years generally run September to August which is why your 64 plate Disco shows as a 2015. All based on summer shut downs for the factories I believe.

Hello! This is the most clear video for Autel App 200 device. Thank you for this video. Can you also confirm, if this devise work with bluetooth only or inernet connection is required at the same time when diagnostic procedure is performed?

Hi. They work offline. I had to turn on airplane mode to make the video so worked for me. Hope that helps. All the best 👍

It would be so cool if this could be built into the car's electrical system. Shouldn't be hard and good feature.

Hi mrcaps. My assumption would be yes. Looking at the variety of options for the Land Rover and indeed also on its built in “Demo”, i would hazard a good guess at yes, but obviously can’t be 100% without having a go. Hope that helps. All the best 👍

Hi , thanks for the video!! I'm having a issue with setting up my car informations. When I click automatic selection my VIN pops up but than decoding faild. So I tried manual selection but when asked for year the latest year option is 2017 but my car is 2018.. can you help please? Thank you!

Hi Tony. Is your device up to date for software versions? I know Autel add later models with new versions. That’s the only real thing I can imagine it would be. Other than that their tech support is normally pretty good from what I’ve heard. Hope that helps. All the best 👍

Thanks for replying. Yes I already called customer support today and they said I can try to put 2017 but I asked if that will work on EPB service mode fo LR Evoque and they said it doesn't work on it.. I will try Thinkcar OBD II bluetooth tool. Will see. Thanks again !

Great to see this. Had just watched your vid on the VeePeak, and was wondering if this Autel was any good. I’ve tried the iCarsoft LR V2.0 but returned (doesn’t have selection for 2016 D4) and have been considering the LR V3.0. It’s £169. The most recommended for Land Rover seems to be the Gap IID tool but it’s £500! Can you please confirm if the other service options for DPF regen, TPMS, etc work with this Autel dongle?? Thanks

Hi again Al and thanks for watching once again. I did a lot of research to get to the point where I committed to this one, and eventually determined that the icarsoft seemed to be not a lot more than the other VEEPEAK tool, with little ability to write anything back to the car. Not sure if the v3.0 would be any different. I know what you mean about the IID tool, which is one of the driving reasons I committed to the AP200. I’m fairly sure it will do the service points you note, and will look to try and put a video together soon if that will help. Thanks again and all the best 👍

@@alchristie2315 I got it from the Autel Store, but apparently there is about a 6 week lead time currently. I got mine early Dec, just took me a while to get round to shooting the video. I know what you mean about the lack of worthy reviews on these tools. I will always try and put my experience together for others to share where I hope it helps. All the best. 👍

is this tool still working ? i read comments on google play,from people that downloaded app,that from 2022 all comments are bad. before-are good mostly. something like that from latest updates there are so much problems and tool dont work,or dont work like before. is your tool fully functional today as before ?

Olá boa noite, eu tenho um obd2 desse autel MaxiAp 200 , mas eu tinha instalado num outro telefone, agora este telefone perdeu ,e estou tentando instalar num outro telefone, não está a dar serto , porque não vem o menor principal para fazer diagnóstico, só termina no GESTOR DE VCI . Já pus o e-mail, EO código QR, e conectei, mesmo assim não resulta. Oque faço ?

O suporte técnico deles é muito bom se você encontrar o número de telefone online. Parece que a licença está vinculada ao telefone antigo e precisa ser liberada. Tudo de bom 👍
