I bought one for my Mercedes ML350 and leave it on my SUV all the time. I use it with Torque Pro and it saves me a lot of money and I do not have to go to Mercedes for troubleshooting and diagnostics when something pops up on the dash. The dealer cannot play games with you when you have a detailed diagnostic reports as well.

Enjoyed the video but surprised that you do not respond to some of the comments and questions below?

Can you reprogram or program a old or new ECM / PCM with this ?

To clarify, the initial manufacturer functionality does not expire after one year ? Assuming you need a single vehicle manufacturer, what functionality do you have after one year without an additional payment ?

Can you use the ap200 with other apps? I have a bmw bike so need a obd Bluetooth for motoscan app so need a obd that will connect to a 2008 range rover and do tpms and can plug into the bike? What do you recommend

Been try to get hold of one but not having any joy are they still available?

Sound very useful BUT mine won’t pair up. I have tried everything I can think of. Bluetooth and the scanner are not on airplane mode.

I just picked up the tool and I can't even get past the registration prompt on the app. Looks like I'll be spending my afternoon researching how to simply log in.

Difference between AP200, vs MAXIAP200 - I cannot see this anywhere and they look exactly the same but their not???

Nothing stopping you but each additional manufacturer is $21.99 which is less than the cost of the ap200

@@jjjustin17favs i thought the $21.99 was a one off payment. Honestly I hate the software subscription models, it is why I didn’t go Defoe am the Carly scanner as that is only subscription. I would probably pick your option if I had more than one brand of vehicle, one single per brand, if I was keeping it long term. I was lucky enough to get my AP200 for £44 , the linked one on this vid to Amazon is £75 when I checked.

I got mine for £48 quid and used it to force regen my Volvo's DPF. That's FAR less than an hour's minimum labor and I got my car out of limp mode, that's great value! EOBD plugin for basic diag of other cars is free with the option of adding a brand to cover a family members car etc. For an average Joe doing some DIY repairs. It's actually a flipping bargain in my humble opinion

$49.99 us dollars at Walmart $25.00 on Amazon highly recommended for DIY oil jobs, abs jobs as well as tire pressure key programming ext get one.

Nice kit, but injection coding must be included 😀

Purchased one of these and won't even get passed vci screen, no software loads. Waste of time

21.99 a year is alot even if your a diy person. If you have one car and never seal that brand it is great but if you sale your car and buy a different brand or own two or more cars you will have to pay 21.99 for each one a year. I work for a Hyundai dealer and was thinking this is great I can work on other brands that come in that are not Hyundai but it would cost me around 750.00 a year to have around 30 most popular brands which is ridiculous you can buy a state of the art diagnostic tool for 1000 to 2000 and keep it forever and not pay every year. I think it's why over price the AP200/HT200 for the software. Thanks for the Video you did a great job

If you buy on Alibaba it costs just 17€ takes some time to ship but if you got three cars buy three of em it's cheaper than the update for a year.

Do you have to pay every year in order for this OBD reader to work ? If you dont pay does that still work ? Do you need to have internet to used it ? If you don't updates does that still work without updates ? Out from the box can you used it without wifi or internet ? Can this scan for Fuel Pressure ? And can this scan for compression test ? Is this a Complete diagnostic Scan tools ?does it Scan from 1996 cars going up ? How about Toyota Camry 2001 2.2 Liter 4 Cyl or Buick Park Ave 2003 3.8 Liter does it Scan these cars ? Does this scan for battery ignition parameters ?

Sounds like someone pulled a shifty. Bought the product, didn’t open it but could see the code through the side of the package, registered it and sent it back! Bad luck, did you return it?

Contacted the seller and they tried to charge me to unbind, I stated I bought it new and they are responsible to unbind... After days of fighting they agreed to do it, so now binded to me so happy 😊

Just buy a new reader for the new car and it's one price for life of the reader.. then you have 2 free vehicle for life.. I have three.. I write ford one one, dodge on other and Chevy on the other.. three cars for life for 150 isn't bad..

The OP is absolute ignorant. Call it self Scan Tool Network without the idea that Autel is Chinese company. Lol.

Should it be fulltime plugged into the car? I assume because it broadcasts signal, it consumes electricity. If it is always on, battery will be drained out. I guess it can be plugged while cart is being driven (battery is constantly charge). What's your thought?

I believe the OBD2 port is only powered when ignition is on..
