C'est pas mal hein. Je crois qu'il n'y a personne sur youtube qui a fait tous les modes hehe. Et ca m'a pas mal embeter. Fallait bien que quelqu'un le fasse :)

Le truc assez cool que j'avais essayé pour vraiment voir la différence c'est de me mettre en D / hybrid hold et puis pendant l'accélération de me mettre en S, vers 80-90 KMH lorsque tu es en 3ème. Tu sens tout la différence et c'est la que tu te dis que le moteur éléctrique donne pas mal de puissance.

​@@funcarreviews Par contre, au dessus de 130, si on est en mode sport et qu'on accélère à fond. Est ce que l'électrique aide encore ? (genre pour doubler rapidement sur l'autoroute) Ou c'est juste le thermique et donc 150ch ?

Firfin j avais vu une vidéo d un 0-200. Le mode Boost est dispo jusqu à 175 km/h. Après l aiguille se retrouve à la moitié du mode boost. Donc ça n est pas que tu thermique après 130 :) J ai eu la même chose en Allemagne donc tu as toujours une bonne puissance après 130 pour doubler tranquillou.

I actually have done the Charge mode, although i said otherwise in the introduction. I didn't want to keep it but as i didn't slide on this one, i have decided to put it.

I have a 2010 a6 3.0t and a 2012 a5 2.0t. I tested out one of these and loved it!

Hello and thanks to you 🤗. I used the OBD11 device and APP to enable the lap timer 🤗

How do you keep in EV in full throttle for that long time? Mine switches to hybrid hold when i full throttle that long

Hello, As long as I have enough battery charge and I don’t press the kick down button at the end of the pedal, it never switches. 😊

Hey, I know this is an old video, but is there a way to show a tachometer on the screen? Or is that only available on the fully digital dashboard?

@jardonnour For the RPMs. On the model with the digital gauges, there's a smaller circle below the power % meter that shows engine rpm. I was wondering if that can be shown on this car? Thanks for your response :)

@jamesreno3321 oh yeah indeed. On this specific car I had, it could also show the RPM tachometer (circle style) in the middle of the screen.

Hi, i tried to activate Oil Temperature display with Carista today but it did not worked for me. How did you manage to display it ? Same question for the lap timer :-) Thanks

Hello Romain, I used OBD Eleven for that but just activating oil temp doesn’t work (I don’t know why) so I activated the lap timer through the obd eleven app and it showed on that same menu :) Maybe check my OBD Eleven video for that :)

Was reading through the manual, and I found the part about launch control, I tried following the instructions, but it seems to limit the RPM at about 1200RPM. Any idea of the car actually has a launch control feature? If so, I dont really seem to get it to work...

Sonny Alblas hello, I have tried also once but wasn’t able to make it work. Someone on KZread tried saying it was launch control but it actually wasn’t as it should stay around 4000 RPM. What is done is just turning on the ICE because he is pressing too hard on the accelerator pedal. It is programmed to turn on when pressing too hard is happening. I m not a fan on launch controls as it is very bad for the transmission. Maybe also how the EV motor is coupled with the transmission and how it is programmed it may not be possible to do that ? But I’m just speculating here.

@@funcarreviews Good to know atleast I am not the only one getting it to work. I guess you theory makes sense. Not a big fan of a launch control feature either since but curious enough to try it once if it would be there.

Hello, If you are talking about the engine logo being on, it is to indicate that the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) is on. It is totally normal 😊

Bonjour, Mais avec plaisir. Effectivement le mode Battery Charge n existe pas sur la 2017. Il a été supprimé. Il était sur la 2015 et a été remis sur la 2020/2021🤗. Tout comme le bug de la boite du mode S EV n’existe plus (juste sur la 2015).

Pas de soucis 🤗. Je doute fortement qu une telle modification soit possible. Il a été enlevé exprès par soucis d écologie, et difficile à dire ce qui est réellement supprimé (juste le choix invisible pour l utilisateur ? Des changements dans l électronique ?…)

Il peut être intéressant de poser la question d un point de vue technique. Honnêtement je ne l ai utilisé que quelques fois pour voir ce que ça donne et faire des tests pour mes revues. La consommation d essence augmente assez fortement avec ce mode et vu que le réservoir est plus petit qu une A3 normale, ça se ressent sur l autonomie globale. J ai toujours critiqué un peu le fait qu a mon goût, la charge en roulant me semblait pas assez efficiente et on consomme beaucoup pour charger un peu. N hésitez pas à me tenir informer de vos impressions avec cette voiture lorsque vous aurez roulé un peu avec 🤗

Hello, You mean in terms of acceleration ? It will be the S mode in hybrid hold mode while using the ICE. I have the same tests for the Q5 TFSIe. 🤗

Welcome. As you can see In The video, boost is only available in S mode and M mode (not shown here). Putting S will always engage the Hybrid Hold mode. You cannot have S with another mode. Boost can be activated in any mode using the kickdown button at the end of the accelerator pedal. PS : for the S EV bug, it only works on the 2015 version. It does not work on the 2017 facelift.

Hello, My car is from 2016 and has 43 00 KM. The range varies from 25 to 40 KM on EV, but it always depends on driving style, outside temperature, road conditions (hills) and use of AC or heating. I have made a lot of videos on the channel about the range and also put a lot of details concerning your question in the all the videos descriptions on this specific subject to help people :)

If it s the grey engine icon just below the left needle of the power gage, if is just to indicate the fuel engine is on / running. Totally normal.

Hello, Aha not really. A real launch control does not exist on this car (meaning it usually starts at 4000 RPM on a S3 or RS3 for example). Here it s maxed at 1500 RPM. There is « too much » torque and HP for a launch control to be useful on this model as it is a FWD only.

GTE should be around 6.9-7.1. GTI should indeed be faster (more horsepower and lighter).

I ll give it a look 😏. But I still prefer the Audi than the GTE. more comfortable. But the GTE has one advantage with the B mode which does not exist in this car (except for the gear box but I have published which activates a special B mode)
