  Indeed you can. And it works :) But you need to unlock it as it is not allowed. It is called VIM (Video In Motion) that can be allowed by modifying some settings of the car through the OBD port. Special equipement is needed.

  @daggersrule_1986 I guess there should Be. I think I have given some explanations here, but not too much.   Thanks for the videos. I know this is years old. But do you have similar videos with air conditioning? Does the AC work well in EV mode? Or does the ICE need to run to get powerful and cold AC?

  Hello, I think I had videos about stationary AC and it s difference of air temperature between in charge or not in charge. But for your specific question, while driving in EV, AC works very well. You do not need the ICE to make it work.

  Suffirai d'utiliser le gaz échappement avec un générateur thermique pour recharge la batterie en permanence ton véhicule serait tjs 3l de consommation en mode hybride à vitesse stabilisé autoroute etc c'edt comme avantage freinage regeneratif abord essence tu la récupère pas porsche la utilisé en 2019 sur sa 919 sachant que le thermique a un rendement cata 50 % on perd tous dans échappement autant la réutilisé hein en chargeant la batterie grace au 800 degré de échappement et récupère la chaleur partour et l ' amener au générateur thermique les gain essence sa évitera de se retrouver à plat et que le thermiques charge et face tourne les roues avant

  In EV mode if I accelerate to 120km/h the engine is off? And if I exceed the 120km/h the engine turn on? Or I increase the speed very fast the engine automatically turn on under 120km/h?

  Unfortunately I do not remember as this is an older test drive. As far as I remember that engine will turn on if you accelerate too much to compensate for the low power EV engine. After a certain speed, engine will also turn on to avoid too much batter consumption. Please take this info « carefully » as I do not remember well.

  Hello, When empty it feels like having 170HP from what I remember. In the newer model it seems you keep 210HP, I guess due to some kind of reserve power/battery.

  Je viens 10 ans après la guerre, mais le bouton du radar a l’avant est bien placé, le bouton a côté est pour les feux antibrouillards à l’avant quand c’est en option. Exemple sur ma voiture ils se trouvent ici et non sur le commodo… parfois je me dis qu’ils se sont bien embêtés car sur la version comme la vôtre le bouton se trouve sur le commodo.

  @jardonnour For the RPMs. On the model with the digital gauges, there's a smaller circle below the power % meter that shows engine rpm. I was wondering if that can be shown on this car? Thanks for your response :)

  @jamesreno3321 oh yeah indeed. On this specific car I had, it could also show the RPM tachometer (circle style) in the middle of the screen.

  @MoiCesMoi71 hello, Alors la voiture est compatible avec myAudi. Je ne sais pas si cela dépend des options de ton modèle mais la mienne l’avait. Il y avait l affichage de l autonomie, des distances parcourues, de la localisation et pouvoir activer le chauffage et la clim à distance, entre autre. Et vu que tu auras le premier modele, et non la facelift, il existe un mode de conduite caché du à un bug. Le mode Sport EV. J ai fais une vidéo à ce sujet.

  Hi am bout to buy a used hybrid i dont have a big budget so what im either go for a 2010-13 Auris 1.8 HSD Yaris 2014 1.5 HSD I like the Auris more for its more comfortable seats but dont know if its worth it for me.

  Hello, Well auris is higher class and a bit more comfortable than this Yaris generation. Price, size, comfort and budget are different. It really depends what you are looking for and your usual drives. Yaris are less comfortable on highways than Auris for example. But both are reliable.

  Hello hello :) Do you mean to activate the sensors ? Or the one that makes the car park itself ? All is near the warning light buttons. On the same « line » of buttons :)

  @iclapsqueakers_9249 I think that in that case you do not have the options. The button that i have that you don’t allows you to manually activate the sensors and have it displayed on the MMI (something that is called Optical Parking System if not mistaken). I thought that was standard on the facelift but maybe not ? If you do not have this, I guess you can’t have the automated parking system. Those are 2 separate buttons.

  Bonjour j’ai ce véhicule depuis prêt de 8 ans et oui il y a un mode de « préchauffage « du moteur, c’est en fonction de la température extérieure, le moteur se met en route seul et reste a environ 1100t/min sans que le voyant moteur soit allumé ! Il arrive qu’il ai pas besoin de préchauffage ! Aujourd’hui je totalise environ 185000km et je peux dire que cette voiture est vraiment bien conçue !

  Bonjour et merci pour votre retour. De mon côté je n’ai eu le préchauffage que 3-4 fois en 4 ans et ce peu importe les température extérieures. Par contre j’ai eu la version 2015. Si vous avez eu la facelift il est possible que se soit différent.

  Bonjour, Dans la dernière A3 TFSIe je n ai pas trouvé de lecteur de carte SD ni DVD. Le véhicule n’a pas besoin d être éteint pour regarder un DVD. Il suffit d’être à l’arrêt. Lorsqu on accélère, la vidéo s éteint mais le son continu. Même si vous regarder le moteur éteint, le système MMI s éteint au bout de quelques minutes pour éviter le risque de se retrouver à plat. Il existe également des moyens pour que la vidéo continue en roulant. 😊

I do not have a specific guide in my head l, however the Audi manual is quite good, but if you have questions maybe I ll be able to answer it.   Hopp Schwiiz! Ich fahre seit 2018 einen Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, den direkten Vorgänger des 40 TFSI e, und ich bin immer noch sehr zufrieden damit. Natürlich hätte ich gerne die leicht grössere Batterie des 2020er-Modells, aber da ich jetzt nicht mehr in Frauenfeld, sondern in Zürich arbeite (und den Weg mit dem ÖV fahre), kommt es nicht mehr darauf an. :) Grüessli aus dem Zürcher Weinland in den Kanton Genf. :)

  Hello, Doing these steps will completely deactivate TRC and VSC, UNTIL you restart your engine :) After restarting, TRC and VSC will be active again.

  I was teaching my son how to drive and when he was testing how clutch, break, hand break works he most likely pressed clutch, break, and pulled hand break in some strange sequence as suddenly TRC, VSC and CHECK ENGINE lights on my 2006 Toyota Corolla Verso went on. Car was driving normally and engine did not loose any power. Once we got home I was researching what could be the solution to this sudden and strange problem. I knew it was most likely some computer error. Some videos presented different possibile solutions. But your advice@@funcarreviews made most of the sens, knowing when those lights of TRC, VSC, CH ENG, went on. So I tried your trick - had to do it 3 times , and 3rd time was successful. All works well, no errors. Thank you m8. Appreciate you a lot.

  They make a replacement but not for the UK - the Sienta. A regular cab in Singapore - some with 300k cab miles on them. Solid. I wish they would import them to the UK.

  Hello, Both will let you drive in EV when battery is low (up to a point). Engine will turn on if you ask too much of the EV when battery is low.

  So that is weird. I do not know your full context (outside temperature, features on, Heating, which mode you started the car, if the engine was hot enough if it was on…). I have the 2021 model and I am not grey at 10 KM remaining. More around 1-3 KM remaining.

  Hello, The riding comfort and noise while driving is for me quite similar from what I remember. Nothing has really shocked me in this new version in that matter. There is just the new « EV noise » that has been added which makes it quite strange when you are used to NOT having the noise. Seats are good, suspensions good but a bit stiff because of the weight (old and new model). Also Very comfortable for highway driving (noise, comfort).

  Hello, Even for the newer A3 TFSIe, temperature can’t be set through the app, which is quite disappointing, but you can remotely lock and unlock the car (at least that). That s also a question a was asking myself but I strongly doubt it heats the ICE or oil.

  Thanks for this, I was wondering how much difference there was between all the modes. I normally drive in Efficiency mode, so good to know I can just knock down into S and I'm not missing out on much power. I wish we could set the steering wheel button to jump into dynamic mode!
