I am a little late to the party but I just wanted to add my appreciation of your excellent review. I always admire when people who do not have English as their native language, do their best to speak English. Very clear and excellent diction. I liked the review very much because I placed my order for the Peugeot e-208 in March 2022 with an expected delivery in July 2022. You revealed all of the most important features of this beautifully styled Peugeot and I thank you for reinforcing that my choice was well made.

Hello and thanks to you :) I am making my videos in french and English in order to help most of the people. Same for the content so you can get all the infos on EV cars that are sometimes unclear. Congrats on your purchase and have all the fun you can with it:)

this is quite possibly the single most comprehensive walk through of the interior. Love it!

There we go. :) And yeah a few words were missing. I am curious here in Denmark now all models except the GT comes without the 3D version of the icockpit. What are your thoughts of the icockpit with the small screen inside. As i am considering the evolution model as i am honestly not a big fan of the big black rims around the wheels.

Aha thank you. Glad you enjoyed it. The I-cockpit is very nice and is a nice innovation. I do like it and it is a nice addition but I would not say it is an obligation to have. For the black part, it can be quite nice with some other paint job, but in white it is less nice. I guess in black or in gold like or blue, the black part goes very well. 🤗

When the battery SoC is greater than 95% the car doesn't regen brake and relies on friction brakes alone. It is the change in brake feel that others have criticised not knowing why that different brake feel has occurred. I don't blame them as I also expect a consistent brake feel. It's something Peugeot engineers should of dealt with as the brake are brake by wire and is probably a simple calibration fix for when the car doesn't regen brake and when it can.

Hello, When the battery is fully charged, or even around 95 %, battery regeneration is disabled for safety reason in order to avoid overcharging and breaking the battery. It is also like that on some PHEV like A3 e tron for example. This brake feel is indeed different depending on the manufacturer. Audi has done it well, as Toyota. But Audi is more luxury and Toyota has more experience. But you are right. Of all EV and PHEV that I remember of, this car was the one where the brake feel was the less consistent.

*82kw is the motor, not 82 HP. In terms of HP it's 136 with 260 NM torque

Hello, In fact my information are / should be correct. I am talking HP not KW in terms or power. 3 driving modes are available giving 82, 109 and 260 HP with 180, 220 and 260 Nm of torque respectively (ECO, Normal, Sport).

Well, Mr Um-Er, once I got used to your style it was interesting to hear your thoughts. As for the outside appearance of the car, in my opinion it's a messy mish-mash that looks like it's been designed by a committee unable to agree what it wants.

Aha thanks. Truthfully, not always easy to speak and find my words with very cold weather. Harder to concentrate 🤣. At least they are consistant in the design of their different vehicles. Thanks for sharing and for watching.
