Eliana was flipping MADE for that track! That high note at the climax was something other worldly and every single time I hear it my spine tingles! And having the legend himself sitting there on the piano was am added bonus to this absolutely phenomenal suite!

21:52 My favorite AoT OST will always be Apple Seed, it's Bertholdt's transformation theme... the scene, the music... the lyrics of the song... "Old man please, remember me" that part, like I said in another video, it refers to Bertholdt's father who later died of cancer. The Marley government upon learning that they had lost their greatest weapon, the Colossal Titan, stopped treating Mr. Hoover and he subsequently died in bed. "Duty chains us, our demons haunt us" that part refers to following his duty as a warrior and that his "demonic" friends are chasing him and Reiner for being traitors. "Like the smell of her hair" that part refers to Annie, and Bertholdt could never tell her what he felt for her...

In retrospect, I’m glad you reacted to this now. This epic medley was everything that’s great about the show. Every song passage brings back so many memories. My absolute favorite is “Counter Attack, Mankind”. I always associate this song with Levi flying around in his ODM gear in “No Regrets” OVA. My favorite character.

Funfact: these are Japanese artists and musicians, mostly singing in German. Very talented group of individuals

Eye-Water could be my favorite. It’s the scene when Hannes gives his motivation speech to Mikasa and Armin on the wall after Eren is taken in S2. I cannot watch it without my heartbreaking. Hannes was an amazing character.

The First singer is like a Titan, she has limitless Powers in her Voice and appeareance 🔥🔥🔥

The song of the third singer is from season 2 episode 6. After the character said : I'm armored titan and he is colossal titan. And there the song is !!!! ❤️❤️❤️

If i can recommend once again something The OST from 86 by Sawano Hiroyuki are worth the try too. Actually i kinda think that you will love the anime too But in general ALL the Sawano Hiroyuki work are pure banger and its almost a guarantee that the soundtrack of any anime who have him work on it will be masterclass in term of music and Insert song

Kohta Yamamoto is the other composer that worked on Season 4's OST's. Also great stuff. He's on the synths in this one, and Sawano is on the piano. This includes only OST's from Seasons 1-3.

You are absolutely right. This beats EASILY a hell of a lot of the soundtracks to major movie productions out there. For me, Sawano Hiroyuki is perhaps the best composer of our time working with modern and classical instruments. And the musicians and singers he works with are also nothing less than first class. I first came into contact with his music a little over 10 years ago when I saw the anime 'Guilty Crown'. A few of the songs from its soundtrack burned themselves directly into my head and can still be found in my soundtrack playlists, and since then I follow the releases of this brilliant composer/musician very closely. I can only highly recommend you to listen to the other suits you can find on his channel, including the one for 'Guilty Crown'. Minute 9-27 to 14-58 of it goes by the German title 'Krone' (engl. Crown), and always manages to send massive shivers down my spine. :) _____________________ 「 _Look inside the mirror of you. Can you say now is the best of who you are?_ 」--- *Nemophila* 'RISE' 💮

Apple Seed and Vogel Im Käfig are my favorites. Both tied to Bertholdt's transformation. Weird how the unassuming random NPC, who also happens to be the most iconic of the titans, had the most epic feels for me. Probably cuz his story was never really explored and we're left to just wonder all the things he kept to himself.

sometimes i wish that they added bauklötze into the medley with how incredible it is but then i remember how they hadn’t touched that song in damn near 10 years and waited until hange’s send off to play it again for the first time since that female titan x scout chase scene in season one. i’d like to believe this song was written about the scouts in general.

Hiroyuki Sawano is a man who somehow managed to take Grandeur, Pride, Glory, and Triumph in a soundtrack and twist it into this terrifyingly beautiful sound that makes you excited to stand tall but scared for what's to come i literally cannot describe the feeling in words, but EVERYONE who has watched Attack on Titan understands the feeling i'm talking about. It's the PERFECT mix of the joyous sounds of soldiers claiming victory in the hardest war they've ever fought, blended with the sound of pure terror and dread that comes with being face to face with carnivorous giants who's ONLY purpose is to devour your species. IT IS INCREDIBLE

The main reason why I am pushing so hard for Re: Creators is because Hiroyuki the same composer of AOT and 86 created the Re: Creators soundtrack and if you loved this you should also like Re: Creators soundtrack

11:25 KENNNYYY!!!! ⚔️ AAHH it’s so hard to pick just one favorite song, but most of the times when I remember this OST the song that comes to my mind is T-Kt (from season 3)

Listening to this makes me wish I could go back through and experience AoT for the first time again. You know it's a masterpiece when you can watch it times over (like I have) and still come away loving every second and hating when each episode or epic track ends. Also hearing "counter Attack mankind", while played in other spots, always takes me back ti Sasha taking on a titan with nothing more than a bow and arrow to save a girl she didn't even know. It doesn't just pull at the Heart strings, that's genuine humanity that rips them out.

Hearing this OST brings back so many memories. Goosebumps for days.

It is worth listening to it with subtitles, because the the lyrics of season 1 OST already has the themes of the last seasons foreshadowed. It's quite incredible.

I love all of the vocalists, but the solo violin part from Counter attack mankind caught me by surprise. It always takes me back to when Sasha was forced to run all day long after her potato munching, and the others are talking about where they came from (when Eren tells everyone like Armin he’s from Shinganshina (sp?) Edit. Yeah counterattack is one of my favorites too. It’s one of the more hopeful sounding OST’s. My all time favorites are not in this video though - I love the shingekinokyojin/ThanksAT/Tk-T variations from S3P2 the most

My favorite ost is 2Volt(and TWO Lives). It is very underrated.

I agree with your perspective of how you phrased it when watching season one. You said something along the lines of 'every episode feels like it could be the very last episode', and i feel the AOT OST captures that epic triumphant sound along with the TERROR of everything going wrong in an instant as well. It juxtaposes those two raw emotions perfectly in my opinion.

AoT soundtrack is a masterpiece, and I'm not saying it lightly. It has to be my favorite OST/Soundtrack of all time, no exaggeration. There is so much good tracks and songs in AoT, it's hard to pick one, but I think for me it'll always be ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn and ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn ＜WMId> and its variation from season 4. Instant goosebumps, chills and wet eyes guaranteed. To me, it's AoT in a nutshell. Here, it's the first track (ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn ＜WMId>). It was played in episode 13 of season 3, starting from the moment the Scouts discovered Reiner hiding in the walls of Shiganshina, and serving to announce the most epic and tragic showdown that was the battle of Shiganshina. A modified version of this particular track was played in the last episode of season 4 (The Dawn of Humanity) when Eren attacks Marley with millions of Colossals, starting the Rumbling. Not to mention, the original ətˈæk 0N tάɪtn was played throughout season 1, during the most intense, epic moments.

Hiroyuki Sawano is also the one who compose Tot Musica sang by Ado for One Piece Film Red, he also compose some of Guilty Crown ost, 86 and Owari no Seraph. I also recommend you to check Banana Fish opening and endings those are so good and also The Old and New Trigun Opening and Ending is also so good

Wihtout Hiroyuki Sawano/KOHTA YAMAMOTO soundtrack AOT wouldn't be the same. There are a lot of great OSTs that you haven't checked yet, i would suggest Call Your Name and The Other Side Of The Sea, both are masterpieces.
