Gotta defend my girl Gabi! That shot does not negate her character arc one bit. She was just trying to keep Eren and Zeke from coming into contact. She was there in the conversation between her, Magath, Pieck and Colt when they figured out that them touching could trigger a possibly world-ending event. And unlike the other Scouts, Eren has treated her like shit -- refusing to even call her by name -- and she saw that when the other scouts showed her kindness, like Mikasa and Armin, Eren treated them like shit too. She's seen that Eren and Zeke do not represent the island as a whole but are instead following their own plan(s). The tear in her eye when she shoots shows that her mindset in that moment was not hatred but something else, perhaps just desperation.

We also get closeup to both reiner and zeke's confused face cuz they can't understand why would eren say that.... The make-up is perfect, love that you decided to stick with it for the reaction ❤ 1:30 Eren really beat Porco to a pulp, took him out of the battle for good until that fateful moment. 3:30 "It's time to summon the Titans" - what a chill-inducing scene - you just know all those people who drank the wine are lost at this point. 5:06 you noticed perfectly, Magy - really, all of them, characters we've been with since season 1 - they transformed into titans. 6:01 at this point, seeing Reiner's horrified expression - you really start to feel for him, he's been through so much already and he just can't catch a break. 8:48 Porco died like an absolute badass, sacrificed himself to give Falco one more chance. 9:54 the moment everything went so horribly wrong, Gabi proving to be every little bit the excellent marksman. 12:22 and things just got worse, seeing how Zeke managed to grab Eren's head right in the nick of time. 15:28 you called it out, from the very start. Proud of you! 21:25 you're right Magy, it's pretty obvious this isn't the end of Eren's story, otherwise the fandom would've gone crazy mad. This just makes the next episodes that much more interesting cause as we've been left at the end of this one, the situation doesn't look too bright for Eren. 24:32 yea if you think about it, Reiner is the Armored Titan with some of the strongest "plot" armor, constantly going forward, unable to rest and he's just being exposed to more and more horrifying things. Eren is right. It's funny how everyone suddenly "forgives" Marley when they have been actively been carrying out war crimes, enslaving and prosecuting innocent Eldians for at least a century, and the rest of the world agreed with the resolution to eradicate an entire Eldian race eventhough they have renounced the war and retreated to Paradis.

Shocking, right? On one hand, we have Eren, with whom they developed an emotional connection from season 1 episode 1 (and they still don't like what Eren does, btw, a thing they mentioned several times already). On the other hand, they have Gabi, who killed Sasha and behaves like an indoctrinated person on steroids (and they still feel for Gabi and understand what she went through, noticed her changing her views on Eldians and even mentioned it, several times).

Gabi simply doesn't miss a shot.

4:15 to be honest colt had that option when he found falco but dude just had to rush near zeke when he had the chance to take his brother far away from zeke yeah pretty dumb move for a loving brother

Nothing awkward about it. These are very emotional episodes and perspectives shift easily during intense moments. They always discuss these things in the post reaction segment and make it clear that they don't enjoy what's happening, they're simply hyped for all the action.

do these girls not understand that reiner, gabi etc are trying to save the world and their loved ones from a potential rumbling? They get mad at them for fighting back and saying that gabi has done bad things. No she has done things to save her people, you just dont like it because its against the characters you are supporting.
