I always appreciate the thoroughness of your videos!… just curious, do you have any plans to cover belt printers? I’ve been looking at the Ender 3 belt kit & a diy option called the Ender Bender, however there isn’t much information.

@@Lolo710Maker3D For engraving yes, LU2 -4SF. The LF is for cutting, but diode lasers are more for engraving. I don't have info about safety glasses.

I'm always wondering why something like this is more expensive than an original Ender 3? It looks to be less complex than a 3d printer: no heated bed, as a result a much smaller current draw and hence more cheap power-supply, no z-axis movement needed, no screen or other controls, only 2 step-sticks needed and I guess just 1 mosfet for the laser whereas a 3d printer needs hotend and heated bed mosfets, ... Ok, it's bigger and has a laser module, but I would still expect that to be compensated by the lower complexity mentioned. I would guess that also the transportation weight is similar to an Ender 3, no? So, I'm really looking forward for a price-breaker in this market like the Ender-3 was for 3D printers. Of course, you probably want something that can cut acrylics (more expensive laser) and then you can start making your own Ender 3 and laser-cutter enclosures using a combination of 3d printing and cutting ... Interesting times ... Let's just hope some world leaders don't mess things up for all of us ...

Nice thinking. Almost half of the price is the laser module.
