I think across the board these old bldings should be reused instead of just sitting around abandoned. Start getting some use out of them. I think those are better than being outside.

Allowing Homeless encampments is not good for homeless people. It is abandoning vulnerable people to the whims of violent predatory criminals.

For many they will end up right back into a tent somewhere. If there is not enough affordable housing what are they going to do?

I think it is a good idea. One of the many challenges is that to have your own apartment, they require you to show you earn 3x the rent. Most people who work in the service fields don't earn enough $. I do believe in helping others and had family cosign a lease even with good credit and always paid my rent.

The rise of homeless migrants is not as great as you find in NYC or Chicago, but it is increasing. You will find migrant camps around Doraville and Norcross for example. This effort will help, but the rate of increase in homelessness is growing faster than the ability of Fulton and Dekalb to deal with it. As to who is to blame, the open border and the poor economy.
