He’s one of the best coaches in the NBA too. Not even a Clippers fan (or fan of any team he’s coached actually) but I’m an NBA nerd lol. He coached LeBron to a ring, maybe could’ve again but the Lakers are cheap (relatively of course) now that the Buss children own most of it. They lowballed him on the contract hardcore. He ended up getting a 5yr/$35M contract with the Clippers (4y guaranteed) back in 2020. 23-24 (this season) was the last guaranteed season on the contract until they fully guaranteed it for 24-25 as well. So he’ll end up getting the full 35. That’s the same contract he got from Cleveland, he got fired like barely 3y in to it I think, and he had at least 1 gtd year left, so he got to chill for 1.5y while still getting paid. The Lakers lowball happened the next year, so he decided to be the asst coach for LAC until that HC got fired, he got the job, and here we are! Lol. He’s been coaching since 2011 with only maybe 1.5-2y off in between. Also played from ‘98 til 2009, won two championships as a player and one as a coach. He made almost 34M as a player in gross salary. He was actually a pretty decent role player, had a nice jumper. He seems like an awesome dude too, every player who’s been coached by him has nothing but good things to say. Dude has done very well for himself and deserves it, pretty cool to hear he gives back to that community.

17:43 I think this deserves a lot more context as it wasn't really cheating. Okay, it was, but it wasn't. Let me explain. The race was held during the pandemic when no real racing took place and instead, Formula E hosted virtual races to keep the community entertained. The racer Daniel Abt is also a fairly well-known KZreadr in Germany and because of this, decided to pull this prank during one of those races as he thought these events were just for fun and made for entertainment. But, Formula E nor Audi found this prank particularly funny and thus punished him for it. He ended the season with another team after the prank and then co-commentated on the German broadcast of Formula E until last year since the German channel lost its rights to broadcast Formula E

He was tagged as an up and coming champion only for these scumbags to deprive him of everything he dreamed off and trained for all his life, by cheating. Went off the rails and lost everything (girlfriend and his life). Sad loss for his Dad, who was in his corner, mother and the boxing world. The documentary on this is certainly worth a look.

4:08 obviously having some fun messing around, 4:16 another one, 5:02 is a BLATANTLY obvious joke Like I get it, I fucking HATE cheaters. But when you have to act like you've got a stick up your ass all the time because you can't have any fun what's the point of the sport? There's a reason I'd love to watch the Harlem Globetrotters again but you'll never catch me at an NBA game (there's actually a lot of reasons for that, but I'll stay focused). I don't like basketball, it's not fun to watch for me. But the globetrotters make it fun. Indoor football leagues are a hell of a lot more entertaining than an NFL game because they're out there having fun. Sports are meant to be a vacation from the hell we are all living. If you take the fun out of that then what's the point? Ban, fine, fire, etc cheaters, but have some common sense and learn to let people have some fun. The clips I mentioned here are NOT cheating imo, and there's a couple more I didn't timestamp that I wouldn't necessarily consider cheating but I could see how others would (like untying dudes show at the free throw shot).

While I think the soccer guy was diving and it "looked like breakdancing" it's actually possible he had a massive cramp too. He locked up like his calf was cramping. I've writhed on the ground when that's happened to me before.

@15:14 the narrator says 'a 215 British pounds fine' whereas the figure on screen clearly shows 215 THOUSAND pounds. That's not the only gaffe. BOTH figures are wrong. The EPCR who organise the Champions Cup fined Quins 300 thousand euros which equated to a little over 260 thousand pounds at the time.

6:25 Ok but in what way would moving the golf ball a few millimetres be of any kind of advantage? Given the fact that only 1 person even noticed seems like it was unintentional. I highly doubt any professional golfer would even have to worry about taking a shot that close to the hole, let alone taking such a high risk in cheating for absolutely no payoff.

I was very disappointed in the Cuban hurdler. It was SO cringe and sneaky the way he hugged his opponent immediately afterwards. Like: "You aren't going to tell on me are you?" Maybe if he hadn't had his mind on cheating he could have won fair and square.
