Athlean-X Supplement Review: In today's video we're doing a step by step, no B.S review of Jeff Cavaliere's supplement line "Athlean RX". This includes the Athlean RX pre-workout formula "X-Cite", along with the other products including "X-LR8", "Reconstruxion" and his new intra-workout supplement "PRX". Are the Athlean RX supplements worth the money, or is this just another over hyped, over priced line of fitness supplements to avoid? We'll go over the ingredients and dosages that Jeff Caveliere is using and what the science actually says. Related tags for the algo: athlean-x fake weights, jeff cavaliere fake weights, athlean-x chest, athlean-x cardio, athlean-x abs.

Money corrupts a lot of people. The more they have, the more they seem to want. Jeff basically became what he originally fought against. Useless supps and some ridiculous exercise variations just to make content, because there's only so much you can talk about the bench, squat and deadlift.
As someone who got into fitness through Jeff's content (and even saw results from one of his programs) I am glad other content creators put out this kind of content. 1) It grounds the debate and shows that nobody is (nor should be) above critique and 2) It helps to build a cautious mindset and be careful and selective of the information/product that's being offered.

@@seyonmahendran7182 I partially agree I mean Jeff gives great physical therapy advice and mobility advice and shows proper form which is super important. I mean if u will go out of your way to buy and use fake weights why would u disclose that u get testosterone from your doctor or something else not illegal but that gives u an edge in looking like he does which is just not maintainable for most people( not saying he is for sure or anything but now I have suspicion where if he didn't lie about the weights I'd never have had.)

Sean, I've seen you recommend facepulls as well in the past. Where are you on the structuralist, anti-structuralist "spectrum" in musculoskeletal therapy? Is it legit advice to correct imbalances? I do seem to have tighter pecs than upper back, been struggling with it for a few years.
I love Jeff, his channel, and his content. He has a great reputation in his field and the academic achievement to go with it. However, when it comes to supplementation I'll never go beyond the basic multi-vitamin, some protein supplement, creatine, and caffeine with a big brand behind it except Starbucks, gimme that trenta strawberry acai with lemonade, lol. The supplement business is such a cash grab when a good nutritional plan is the most effective for your natural fitness enthusiast, which is me. Sometimes, though, my nutrition falls so I do use the above listed to help cover some basic deficiencies.
My Pre-workout Drink (30min before gym) 1 or 2 shots of Espresso, that is all you need! Gives me the same effect as all the over priced pre-workout formulas I have been consuming the past 20 years. What drink all that sugar and chemicals? The only preworkout one should need is motivation.
Whats your take on Kaged Muscle supplements Sean? Well dosed good supplements?
Sean, have you ever looked at products from Blue Star Nutraceuticals such as their creatine, protein powders, pre-workout, etc.?
8:30 such a glowing recommendation.
Hi Sean. You have betain and l carnitine tartrait in your CreElite supplement as well. I wonder why? Are there new studies showing it's working better or something else? I'm thinking of buying your CreElite, but without these 2 ingredients there's only creatine left, and pure creatine is so much cheaper. So not sure if those 2 borderline supplements there apart from creatine worth the higher price.
Hey sean! Thank u for the no bs. Could u do an updated video on creatine hcl? Its been 8 years since and theres lotsa more research on it and its absorption properties
love your videos man keep it up . Can you do a video on evogen supplements
Honestly, I'm glad the price was so high that I never even considered buying any of his products. When he is charging 2X the price of any reputable product out there, you know something is up. It's not like he found the 'secret' to supplementation. He is truly screwing over his fan base with the prices he charges.

Dude that's not the point that's not the takeaway. It aint abt the price. U can charge 2x any reputable product as long as it is great. Thats the freaking point. Quality. Not price

Your videos are honest and you know you can trust your information, instead of being conned in to buying rubbish supps. Great channel Sean! 👍🏻
Good and seemingly balanced video, though it would be good to see a bio of the papers you’re quoting as the basis for the critique. I do like your content overall though and thanks for posting it out there. Seems very practical. 👍
Well done. I'm subscribing now and can't wait to learn more from your videos.

I like how EVERY price is supposedly reduced with a slash through the supposed previous price. Hilarious. That is a sure sign of someone trying to pull something over on you. In fact, if he never offered at that price, it's illegal. You can't legally list a price as reduced if you never sold it at the higher price for a certain period of time.

I pity the people who bought those supplements at their original prices
I waited months for this review and you did not disappoint!
6:14 lol my exact thought when i read the description of that product
Sounds like you know your stuff! But then again so does Jeff ! At least when it comes to work out so I don’t know who to believe!? Also is there any third-party who tests all these workout supplements and rates them based off of their ingredients and price!?!?!??
And you are charging 30$ bucks for 20 servings of L citrulline and caffeine as a pre workout BRUH STOP IT!! Your supps are just as trashed and under dosed 🤣🤣🤣 if you only adding in two ingredients to your “ pre workout” you could at least gave 9 grams of citrulline 🙄

I would LOVE to see you break down Jym Steppani (zeeeeeeero chance I spelled that right) and his supplement information!!
Sean, will you be launching your whey protein?
At this point, I still watch Jeff's videos for the same reasons that I watch the latest Fast & Furious movies: Nostalgia for what it was and entertainment value, while not taking much of what I watch seriously.

The whole argument of not being in better shape is so bad. You don't need to be better than someone to provide information. Like was Bob Bowman a better swimmer than Phelps? No. He was still an excellent coach. Was Cus a bettet boxer than Tyson? Again no. Is Phil Heath/Brandon Curry/Big Ramy's coach a better bodybuilder than each of them? No. You don't need to be better than to coach. Secondly, Jeff is a physical therapist. That on paper does not qualify him on topics of nutrition - which is the topic Sean is talking about. Also, if you really care about knowledge, how about you look at these contrasting opinions and go read the available literature to decide which of the two seems to be more inline with current scientific knowledge right now?

@@badsolja1 hahahaha spot on my man. I feel exactly the same way, childish clout. I watch many different youtubers for workout advice and some of these videos that call one another out are constructive and meaningful while others leave a strong impression of jealousy. Why there even needs to be supplement reviews is beyond me. None of them are FDA regulated. Almost all have some sort of clever marketing scheme that basically lets them get away with selling you something for a lot of money that isn't quite what the label says it is.

If you had a little more... actually a lot more brain activity you would have caught on he isn't pissing on Jeff's KZread videos. He's reading labels to do a breakdown of ingredients, which you obviously needed or you wouldn't be here LOL.

love these supplement reviews. companies upcharging shitty formulas that people put into their body really rubs me the wrong way.
I used a pre-workout a few years back and never used it again because it made me feel like I was about to have a heart attack. Why use them and what is the recommended brand?
@sean Nalewanyj would you do a review of Mike Matthew’s Legion Athletics supplements?
"This piece of sh.. supplement" 🤣🤣 Love it!
Even before all the BS fake weights i wasn't sure about his supplements and gladly never pulled the trigger and bought them. The prices r so high its ridiculous
What is a good protein brand that you would recommend
Still new to this Channel, and in the industry myself. Have to admit that I love all the videos I've watched so far, tell it like it is straight forward something that I've been looking for and which I knew about this channel Sean Nalewanyj thanks for making these video. Has helped me no lie 💪🏼 there was plenty of other channels that I started following and even taken some advice, I believe try and see how it works for me first. Hit and miss! Agree on the BCAA's and Reconstruction - Protein is expensive too. I buy the pre workout because I prefer the flavors to most of the rest I've tried and don't need a full dose to achieve plenty of energy for my workouts and I'm 56. I usually only use about 1/2 a dose.
