Just to clarify, its regen through -ve throttle. The idea is to negate the use of braking but it does not work at higher speeds as much as it does at lower speeds.

I work for an agency that does naming for a lot of automobiles. Rizta was probably named to include the word ‘rizz’, word of the year which meant sex appeal or charm and the ‘rishta’ connection was probably force fitted into it. It’s clever though.

There are a few red flags with Ather. 1. Prohibitive service costs. 2. Over expensive spares. 3. No touchscreen even at 1.8 lakhs. Is TVS service experience bad ?

Especially the icube and premium ones like RTR310 RTR310 customers having issues with part availability, subpar service experience, service people unable to diagnose and correct issues properly. Mine is a tier 2 city Still facing all issues till date

Smart Eco is the clever one. Restricts speed or increases it depending on the situation. Zip top speed is 80kmph.

If you're looking for a family scooter go for Rizta, otherwise 450x for a single rider.

An electric scooter much higher than ₹1.2 lakhs is way too high. Quality may be good but it's not practical for commoners at this price point. Even if it has many things going in its favour, it still is not feasible and many features on this variant are available at the pro pack only. I would prefer the Ola because it is a great bargain. Electric vehicles don't need any service unlike petrol variants except for mechanical parts like suspension, brakes, etc. So in that sense Ola is a great bargain. I wish they would improve on the after sales service and better quality of parts.

I believe for a family use, indie will always be a better choice if u get your hands on it.. although just take test drive for both & then decide, indie will take much more time to be delivered I guess.. do your research, but both are good options, you won't be disappointed with either.😊

Why everyone is justifying this scooter given its pricing. This scooter had non touch low resolution screen then ather 450x. The features they advertise will 20k extra. They are saying that touch screen is removed because old people wouldn't use it. But the fact is the scooter will be use by everyone in family.
