Over 100 years ago, Baker Roofing Company was founded with a promise to our community: “We shall do good work, at a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always good work”. The second statement in that slogan fully embodies the spirit of our organization, yet creates the greatest tension point. “At a loss if we must” is a value that embraces struggle, challenge, and ultimately failure as part of our organization’s journey to success and impact.
