In 1915 W. P. Baker hung a sign in his downtown Raleigh shop indicating that Baker Roofing (then Baker Rawls Tin Shop) was open for business. That sign read “We shall do good work. At a profit if we can, at a loss if we must, but always good work." Today, that sign can be found hanging in lobby of our Raleigh headquarters to act as a daily reminder of the values that drive all of team Baker.
Since that day in 1915, Baker Roofing has grown to become one of the Nation’s largest and most respected roofing contractors. Baker Roofing Company now has over 20 locations throughout the Southeast and performs work all across the US as well as internationally!

Wow! I remember you
What I miss the most about Baker is this man.
Looks easy right? Why does that guy get to go sit there and weld 60 t patches and flash 12 boxes? LUCKY.....says that one laborer. Anyone that knows HOW to heat weld really well, HATES it by now, but theres just no one else the boss trusts to do it right.🤷
“Water block” what is this, specifically?
🧠Great insight! Very informative! 💪🏼
Maybe he's asking us the question 🤔😂 No Bud, you shouldn't roof in the rain.
Terminate membrane before target sheet
i just had roofers start in the rain.... beware they have no standards... they just want that paper..
So....can you roof in the rain, or not?
Temperature varies depending on ambient temperature and substrate. Also....clean, clean, clean your material prior to welding. Weathered membrane cleaner.
Damn, you should’ve just welded the whole thing by hand.
Buenas tardes está compania es la de don bill
"Keep and inch and a half away from patch" Doesn't tell what number settings to be on. Step 9 is probe all your work but you forgot to mention to wait until it's 100 percent cooled down!! Don't probe while hot
Always good work !!!!
I have been at Baker almost 11 years now and it's the best company I have ever worked for hands down.
That was absolutely no help at all.
Exelente
So it’s a no?
Nice 👍
Very good. We’ll explain 👌.
Very well said as the core foundation. Looking forward to joining the team
Why he cut the tpo ??? Just need to replace the metal ring !!
Thanks!
Hmm, I could not hear your voice, I could only hear the music.
can you share with me material detail
Do you know why color fall off on a new roof, specially when it rains
didnt answer your own question lol
No drain sump, that's not ideal, but interesting. I believe a general guideline is to keep the center hole at least an inch smaller in diameter than the drain pipe itself while maintaining a 1" minimum amount of PVC inside the drain bolts. Flat and wide drain hubs are also better
Great story! God Bless
De benta
Great message from an industry leader!
❤❤❤❤
Super useful, thanks! A great way to look for slate is to search for salvaged slate from demolished or run down buildings, as it will cost much less and even if it's from an old building, like the man said, it's millions of years old already.
grea video... Love the work shoes
Step 10 get PAID.

In Pacific Northwest, slate costs 5 times that of an asphalt shingle.
Lo hubieras hecho de rodillas en el piso afuera del almacén al aire libre bajo el sol para hacer el trabajo un poco más real
y con la cara llena de polvo de chapopote
With hot pitch dust on your skin from the tear off 😂 these ppl have no clue
Crew refuses to use a nail gun? That man at 0:50 IS a nail gun
I hate the look of a circled target. We aleays do them squared.
is this something from the stone age i only remove them and install new and better ons
Looks like a drain Hub from a previous SBS or BUR roof.
Damn some roofing company don't know what water block is for.
Weird flex but ok

Hello, we are membrane manufacturer from Taiwan! I find your videos are all showing your profession in roofing. How many different waterproofing membranes are you using?

I work in a building built in the 20's and the slate is holding up pretty well.
Nice
