Hold the power button for 15 seconds till it shuts down remove the power cord hold the power button for 40 seconds for a power shut down, that should do the trick in most cases

@@ajajala5081 well basically you're trying to restart the bios. I found out my actual problem was that I have a bad fan, the fan needs to work for the PC to start. So I have to replace mines. KZread how to restart your bios for your PC that may help

Remove baterai, and touch power button for 15 second. And install baterai and pull charger. Now turn on again.

1.Try remove one stick ram and turn on again. 2.Reset cmos.

This may happen if the laptop has a faulty Ram. Do check the ram also!!

My Asus Rog Flow X16 does it all the time, goes to black for 1-5 seconds, sometimes many times in a row. This is a brand new computer, so it is an error from ASUS But yes if it stucks, you have to reeboot, by pressing and holding the PowerButton for a few seconds. But ASUS has been a little lazy in their productions lately, it seems.

Well what i did is unplug power cable, then hold power button to turn if off. After 2 mins, without plugging power cable i pushed power button hold for 30 secs(laptop will turn on and will off), after that press power button again and my screen TURNED ON 😍 Mine Asus Gl553ve

It started happening after windows 11 update . It is due to display driver. A simple solution to this is unplug you laptop hold power button and emergency stop it and turn it back on after 2 mins without plugging the AC power ( on battery ) and then it will work fine . The display driver doesn't works sometimes so it happens.

There can be 2 possible reasons :-) 1st : Corrupt windows file.( Whenever I boot after this method my laptop goes into disk checkup and fixes a broken file) 2nd : If you have amd cpu then there are chances that it's not stable due to some out dated drivers . Try updating all the drivers. In my laptop this problem is fixed and didn't happened for 1 month but today it happened again this time more worse . I did the above trick many time but It didn't worked so i just shut down it and put it on charging for 20 mins then unplugged charger and turned it on and it booted normally after a disk checkup and repair . If updating driver didn't helped then the best option is to factory reset your laptop . This is a windows error.

Its easier for you because they keep it off for 30 seconds so that all the temporary data will be cleaned and the internal graphics driver will be freshly loaded. But in your case you have a direct electricity. So your all data will be cleaned instantly.

I think shoud display driver back to old version In internet i saw ofcourse another way to press win+ctrl+shift+B

Disconnect the battery and then plug in the power cord to see if that works. Currently using the computer rn until my new battery comes in.

IMO, Your PC is FAKE. And to solve your problem, you can try removing and reinstalling the battery or holding the power button until the processor stops working (you can realize it from the sound) and rebooting your PC. If these does not work, you can try replacing the disk to the new one.

Hi guys, I try so hard finding many solutions to repair it but none works. I did a hardware and software check and seems that in my case is not necessarily related to a software problem like a BIOS or Windows Updated. Seems like the problem came from the LCD cable inside. My laptop works perfectly except from the screen... I reconnected the ram, power battery and LCD cable but none works as I told you. I found in some place that the problem could be related to a metal liquid that can be spread from the CPU to other parts of the laptop and seems that it's a problem with this model. Holy chit

@Anirudh Mine was doing the same. It turns out it was overheating. I put it on a cold surface for a couple minutes and restarted my laptop and it worked. I think there was a problem with my fans not working properly.

Same thing just now with Asus ROG strix G15 laptop was on the entire day then played a game at midnight suddenly screen flickered then stopped working used an external monitor but system seems fine. :( pls help
