  I have the exact same laptop and mine does the same thing it turns on but the hdd/sad light doesn’t come on and my mechanical hard drive doesn’t spin don’t have a nvme or ssd been trying for days to get it working nothing has helped of you can get your to work please comment or post a video explaining what you did but I will try the suggestions

  I got a Asus Tuf gaming a16 advantage edtition. The keyboard is lit up, the sound is fine but the screen is all black. Anyone help?

  Most closely seems like that ur bios is not working, because inside of asus rog strix laptop there is a thing like a little battery for ur bios system, when it shuts down sometimes happens you have to replace it, that could be one of the reasons why ur laptop is not showing image

  My Asus Rog Flow X16 does it all the time, goes to black for 1-5 seconds, sometimes many times in a row. This is a brand new computer, so it is an error from ASUS But yes if it stucks, you have to reeboot, by pressing and holding the PowerButton for a few seconds. But ASUS has been a little lazy in their productions lately, it seems.

  Disconnect the battery and then plug in the power cord to see if that works. Currently using the computer rn until my new battery comes in.

  maybe its too late to comment. may this texts able to help other with same problem. it can be solved by press hold power button to turn off. after turned off, just need to unplug battery cord from socket. note: before you connect your battery again, need to make sure all of peripherals socket connected first.. properly. then plug in the battery cord again. i have same problem before, thank god it back to normal again.

  @@aydah ehh , not really. I left it unplugged and off for a few days, to let it discharge completely. Then took it to a place to check it, when they turned it on it showed the block screen before the screen turned black once again. Can't really tell there is a solution solution, but letting it completely discharge for a few days help.

  Mine just stays blank it had this problem before and id just restart but now its just stays on the black screen do everything i can restarts reboots so much money for this laptop to be dead, it lights up the screen but just stays there black and blank and asus is the supposidly the chet, terrible waste of money

  Didn't work right away, but kept on doing variations of what u said while giving the laptop a while to rest between power off and it worked, I'm using the same laptop to write this comment , thanks mate

  @@ajajala5081 well basically you're trying to restart the bios. I found out my actual problem was that I have a bad fan, the fan needs to work for the PC to start. So I have to replace mines. KZread how to restart your bios for your PC that may help
