    Hi bro , I have a problem my hp probook 4530s laptop, every time I want to install the video card driver the laptop monitor get black and after couple minutes it's shutdown it self... I tried different OS (win 10 , 8.1) and the problem still.

    @Mohan Sandal spent 1600 on spectre 360, sent it in to service center 2x for black screen issue upon wakeup, spent hours wiping and reinstalling everything, nothing fixed, updated everything, reinstalled os so many times, still have to reboot computer all the time because HP sells shit.

    we cant do this everyday and recently my online classes (due to covid-19 virus )were going on and the screen went blank and black. And it is a brand new hp laptop . This is totally annoying and demotivating.

    The Bios recovery (B+Win+power) did the trick. I've been repairing computers for a while and it's one of the first time this works lol I almost fell out of my chair. Thanks!

    Thank you, thank you this is the only thing that helped me get it back after trying other tips that did nothing. I hadn't used my laptop in a long time and when I did I had forgotten my password and in the process of verifying my ID I accidentally hit something when my computer was trying to slide off my work surface. So happy to have it back.

    For those of you on the BIOS update part, just a quick fyi, the video says 40 sec, but mine actually took a couple minutes. after the 40 sec i thought it just didn’t work so i left and went upstairs, a couple minutes later i saw it had started to reboot, and now works perfectly fine, so don’t get discouraged if it doesn’t work after 40 s. Great video!

    You are a life saver, it took around 10mins. I suppose it varies based on the model's processing power and the cheap ones (~300€/$) take way more than 40seconds.

    $800 for the computer it lasted 6 months, sent to HP they fixed it and it lasted another 6 weeks, sent to HP again had to pay $300 and it lasted only another 6 weeks. Needless to say, I will not be purchasing an HP laptop again.

    I kept my laptop on sleep mode and forget to shut it down , and didn't use it for a month and few weeks ago I wanted to attend my class it didn't start I tried literally everything but nothing worked , my parents didn't knew Caz if I tell them they will remove me from the house 💀 Because it's a new laptop....THE 3RD STEP CHANGED MY LIFE I LUV THIS AH THANK YOU SO MUCH

    I did that same (sleep mode but not shutting down) but for like few days cause I didn't want to lose my unfinished assignments :DD now the screen's black and my exam week just started :D nothing seems to help lol Update 11.05.2021 I just got my computer back from a repair. The whole mainboard had to be changed :DD

    Step 3 worked for my HP Paviliion x360 laptop. Held Windows, B button, and Power button for 1 second, and 30 seconds later the BIOS image screen popped up. Thank you HP!

    While I appreciate there being trouble shooting videos, the issue lies with the fact that I shouldn't have to jump through hoops for a nearly $1,000 laptop to function properly. Within less than a month of owning it, my HP Pavilion has had TWO of the fatal errors that are allegedly caused by windows: First the infinite repair loop which forced me to factory reset the computer (when I called HP support, they tried to claim my year long warranty had expired despite the fact I had only owned the laptop for fifteen days at that point). Since then, my laptop has been black screening and inverting monitor colors. I did the trouble shooting method of updating the drivers. Now, merely a total of 25 days of owning this wretched thing, it's doing the black-screen-with-cursor error. No amount of troubleshooting has worked so far. My lenovo of seven years never gave me as many problems as this HP has in the mere weeks I've owned it. A product so expensive should never be so faulty that it causes a college student to agonize over fixing it/retrieving homework from it until 3 in the morning.... it's a bit ridiculous, really....

    ​@@HPSupport Hello HP, I bought this expensive HP Spectre 360 laptop and after awhile it started to run very slow, so I decided to run the Tron Script to clean it, Once tron script was done, after reboot I see keyboard keys are lid but there is black screen and it takes forever to start or me just keep pressing all keys on the keyboard.     @@srijanadh2303 the battery keeps the laptop alive if you disconnect it so you can just leave it like that if you won't disconnect it but if you want plug it in
