Why would King Saul have been so afraid of Goliath when he himself stood head and shoulders above all other men? So he would have been a giant himself, not to mention the fact that he was a warrior. It's hard to believe he would have been utterly terrified of another man only a few inches taller than him. Just something to think about.

Being a warrior or even being big doesn’t make one fearless, especially one who is attached to what they have to lose. We will never know if push came to shove if he indeed would have fought or if he had done so, if it would have been with Gods blessing and love of God in his heart. Doubtful though he was tall enough to feel like equal footing even size wise.

Just because you are tall doesn’t make you strong. I believe Goliath had super human strength kinda like Nimrod. Nimrod was supposedly a strong and large man and he was also slain. Esau had to sneak up on nimrod and slay him quickly removing his head. Otherwise Esau would have had no chance in face to face conflict.

King Og of Bashan the Bible says his bed was about 12ft long. Skeletons of giants 9 to13 ft or more have been found all over the earth including North America where there were stories of the Indian tribes joining together to kill these cannibalistic giants. And these giants and some others found had 2 rows of teeth and 6 fingered and 6 toed with reddish hair!!. Also there was military eye witnesses of a red haired giant attacking a group of soldiers in Afganistan, the 13 ft tall giant of Kandahar. Which BTW had 6 fingers and toes and double rows of teeth, and was built like Andre the giant! These are true Nephilm.

Did a bunch of digging into this years ago... we came up with a range of 9-12. Be nice to find a skeleton that doesn't go to the Smithsonian 😢

Most of the excavated Indian mounds in the midwest had 1 or more giant skeletons at the bottom which were sent to the Smithsonian in DC. David Paulides has a published book of old paper clippings on giants and there were many.

Poor research. You fail to mention Amos 2:9, where god describes Ammonites as tall as cedars. That is a pretty clear definition of very tall giants. I would say at least 40 feet.

If you have a community of 'dwarfism' due to inbreeding or genetic mutations, the dwarfs might have hard feelings towards 'outsiders' who were of normal stature who were being selected for jobs or breeding over them. (We see the same feelings today due to immigration in the local population when you leave local workers out of jobs). Their women would be doing this to increase the genetic material in the community to continue to have a group of people who can do the jobs that require strength and healthy bodies...but the dwarf men might not understand. Right, Moses would not be afraid of an average height Canaanite giant. How could an average height Canaanite be so tall that the Israelites felt like grasshoppers. Anyone who tries to mess with the Bible is doomed to failure in the end. The height of the giants varied between the different Canaanite tribes and ranged from 8 ft to 15 ft and some of the Nephilim were even taller and stronger. This is the accepted numbers for the Nephilim, the giants were later beings father removed from the Fallen angel genes, so these alien peoples gradually got shorter as generations came and went. The world is full of monuments built by the Nephilim and later giants. There is no logical reason why an average height giant would not be able to lift 1.0 ton hexagon stones and place them on the walls of their temples. I am sorry, the world at large is full of examples of walls and temples built by the Nephilim and later by the giants. The average man today can lift straight up about 300 lbs and do it more than three times in a day. A few men today can lift even twice that weight, but they will not be doing it all day, which would be required to build something as big and complicated as a temple, like at Baalbek. When I was 35 years old, I could lift and carry easily an additional 200 lbs all day long. So a 7 ft Sasquatch is about 700 to 800 lbs and he can lift more than double their own weight. So a giant could do better than that easily. The Nephilim were genetically copied from the fallen angels and there are many references to the warrior angels being 8 ft tall. All we have to do is look at the Canadian wild hairy hog, which the Canadian government labs bred to live through the harsh Canadian winters and they are about twice the size of the Texas wild hog. So allot can be done with genetics. The Nephilim were experts at combining genes of different species, so it is not unreasonable for them to create even bigger giants than themselves. Some estimates say up to 35 ft tall in some cases.

Nature is very pragmatic and efficient. People anywhere about 9 feet tall would have been unhealthy, clumsy, and not able to be good warriors at all. So I'm going with the suggested 6 feet, 9 inches (with a disease that made Goliath pretty much a sitting duck for David's sling). But this is all for fun . . . right?

Because as far as i have seen every big televangelist preachs the opposite of Jesus when they preach prosparity gospel an seed donations and they seem to be very successful at tricking people into semding them money to make themselves rich. Also the origin of the current compilation of writings has a lot of messing done with it. The writers of all the gospels where copying older gospels and making changes and four of those altered accounts are the ones that where selected for inclusion in the Christian bible. Seems evident to me you can mess with the word or preach whatever you want and be very successful. Hell people so deep in the devil's pocket they drag on the ground meters behind him just claim to be pro jesus and the evangelicals just line up to support them because they are republican claim to be pro Jesus. Maybe pre flood giants that were larger than post flood giants. Supposedly, some of the skeletons were 30 ft tall. I do believe that Goliath was about 9 feet tall, give or take a half a foot.

No need to adjust the height of a giant to tallest human height. They are tall, many giant mounds in north America were opened in 20th century. We have tons of news reports in New York times. Those reports contains the heights of the skeleton.

Lol! Ok maybe 6 ft is a little short for a giant. What if they were on the taller end of the spectrum? Say, 9 ft? If the average Israelite was somewhere between 5' 0" and 5' 5", the giants would still be almost twice as tall as them.

These giants do fit into modern archeology in that their bones have been found all over the world but of course that all gets buried by big brother, Smithsonian, Catholic Church, etc.

@amandodavid5061 It's known that he did not write the book himself. Much of the Old Testament was also not written by the persons the books were named after. Lots of it was on memory. Back then, they really worked hard to memorize events due to a lack of writing. It was inspired writing later on as well after the memories were passed on. I think that God helped them have flawless memory, inspired by the Holy Spirit. I have read the first book of Enoch and it parallels the Bible even through the New Testament, also in Ethiopian Church and areas where most all the writings originated it is still cannon and always has been along with Jubilees, Jasher, and a couple more I think. I really think it's legit. It just told a lot of things that people seeking personal power didn't want us to know because at one time, it was in what became our Holy Bible today. I recommend reading it, and Jubilees, idk much about Jasher yet, but im getting to it. It's obvious that the evil side of man has been trying everything to hide God for as long as we have been around. They don't try to hide the name, so to speak, but they want to make him into a myth.

Sir the biggest or pre-flood original born of fallen Angels giants can be seen still today. They are petrified into stone 🪨. In the Smoky mountains of NC there is a mountain called Grandfather mountain. It is the face of a man laying on his back, the Native Indians of North and South America have all kinds of stories passed down through their tribes of very tall Giant men living in America back before the pale faces invaded their lands. They only speak of male giants, I wonder why? Where are the giant females at? The only females spoken of is the Amazon tribe of women warriors in history. Sir the giants that died during the flood were well over 40 feet tall. They couldn't swim, they couldn't float, so they drowned in the water and were petrified into stone. Think about how much they must have weighed and how thick and heavy their bones were? If the flood could kill dinosaurs 🦕 why couldn't it kill Giants? If you can find a way to remote view from one of the satellites circling the Earth you can see for yourself that some Giants are much too big on this Earth to even try to dig up. It's a problem of "can't see the forest for the trees", sometimes you need to step way back away from something to get another view of it, and look from a birds view point to see the whole forest. I believe what we call Himalayan salt is the petrified flesh of giants dug out of mountains. I also believe that oil is not only dinosaurs but Giant remains liquefied into underground oil pockets or wells. I also believe that there's a good chance that everyone of those Stone giants could come back to life and walk upon the Earth again when the Antichrist calls them forth to fight as stone giants in the battle of Armageddon. See the whole reason that The Fallen Angels even bothered with trying to create laboratory babies of mixed species of Earthlings is to create a Army of supernatural beings strong enough to fight Michael the Archangel and his undefeated Glory Warriors! Why? Because he wanted out of this prison planet called Earth and he knew his little band of criminals couldn't beat Michael's Glory Warriors. Why? Because Lucifer had already tried to and got his butt kicked out of heaven and put in prison. Earth may seem big to you and I but to Lucifer who used to have the whole universe to play in, this planet must seem like a prison cell to a human being, cramped and small. Trust me those first females used in Lucifers hybrid Army experiments didn't go willingly, they were kidnapped, held captive, raped, and died brutally giving birth to monsters who grew up to eat human flesh.

Just asking because Enoch tells you in the book how he learned to write ✍️ and who taught him. I don't want to spoil the book for you so I will let you read it for yourself to find out the answers you are seeking. But please sit down and make a time line on a piece of paper after you read the book of Enoch. I am assuming you have read the Bible and already have a certain time line in your head for the dates of "before the flood", "after the flood but before Jesus", and "after Jesus Christ to modern day". Honestly a time line helps me keep it all straight in my head. Enoch was the 7th grandson born from Adam and Eve.

A few things, nowhere does it say that David was a 5 ft tall midget. Goliath was 10 ft. Og was 12-14 ft. The largest skeleton ever found was 60 ft, 2 of them in the 1000's AD in what would be modern day Turkey.

I think I have read that Enoch was not actually authored by him, but books were often named after the main character. Enoch is dated between 700-400 BC I believe. Sometime during the exile. It was probably orally transmitted until then, because it does seem to have originated from before that time

The Kandahar Giant Killed by U.S. Soldiers in Afghanistan- 2002 was over 11 ft. Tall and weighed over 1100 lbs. It had 6 fingers and 6 toes and a double row of teeth. According to sheep herders in that area, more of these giants live in mtn. caves all over their country...

Moses was highly educated in Egypt. Ancient Hebrews would most likely have used the Egyptian Royal cubit + 20.6 to 20.64 inches.

Don't all biblically scholars agree that Moses never exsisted much less wrote the book discribing his own death? They also agreed that, like the other origins tribes of the area and time claimed to have, that the Hebrew account of Exodus was a fabrication. Something supported by archeology unless more people than you would need to form a single file line from the nile to gaza managed to not only be in Egypt but also leave and wander without trace. The biblical numbers also would have dwarfed the population in the area at the time.

Henry VIII appeared to have a 12 inch foot : given the bibles referred to Goliath as either 6 or 4 cubits, with a cubit given as 18 inches, Henry would likely have considered a cubit could be 12 or 18 inches, depending on the author. Henry was an active commissioner of building activity, the Mary Rose for example, he had to have a standard measurement. Claiming his foot was 12 inches, would have been a simple solution. David as a shepherd would likely have been no more than 5 ft : a 6ft 6 inch opponent, more than double his weight, would have been imposing. From the story, Goliath was beaten by a combination of contempt and heavy armour : he so underestimated David, he took off his helmet, allowing a knock out blow with a stone.

Exactly. Pre Flood giants were absolutely gigantic bit I woll not speculate on how big. We have no idea ho big 3000 ells is. Post Flood giants would've still been huge, I think the largest would've been 60 ft. Why? Because in the 1000's AD, a pair of 60 fters was purported to have been discovered in what would be present day Turkey.

Not an original concept but valid. I mean there was a movie starring Gregory Peck call David and Basheba where David says modestly that every time he hears the story about him slaying Goliath, Goliath gets bigger with each telling

LA Marzulli has written some very interesting books on the Nephilim and several giant elongated skulls on display in Paracus, Peru. They're not only elongated but have double rows of teeth and some other distinct differences to a human skull.

Yeah like what's the ratio of human to grasshopper, extrapolated that the other way from human to giant; let's say 69 inch human to 3inch grasshopper =23 to 1; thus 69 x 23 = about 1600 inches tall? how much is that in feet? 133 ft.? But wait, Scripture says; that Everything in the Land of Canaan was huge. and that the wicked spies gave an evil report. So let's arbitrarily dumb it down to "OG, king of Bashan" the last of the post-flood Giants, who had an iron bed that the Israelites used to keep in a specific viewing place. That bed was said to be, in modern terms, 6 ft wide and 15 ft long; which is just over twice as long as our standard queen-size beds of today. No matter how you slice it, those Rephaim were obviously scary tall to the Israelites.

I believe the confusion on height was on purpose. All it would take if measurements were exact was twisting of the words over time and you can rewrite the bible. Think of Unicorn for example. Its referring to a 1 horn rhino not a magical horse with a horn but most of us see it as a the magical horse because they have changes the meaning of the word. "We were like grasshoppers" tells you they were big, very big.

And when ever someone says they did a ton of something, they mean a literal metic one. Not everything is ment to be literal especially in tbe book with talking animals in it.

For a modern day example of the heights talked about just look at some of the professional wrestlers, Andre the Giant at 7 foot 4 inches and 520lbs, Undertaker at 6 foot 10 inches and 310lbs, and Big Show at 7 foot even and 383 lbs, now think from a perspective of 5 foot 5 inch and 115lbs, drop someone their size into the mix and they would all be considered to be "Giants".

In Book of Enoch, God refers to the Pre-Flood Nephalim, as Reprobate Bastards which is to say, irredeemable children of an unsanctioned union... referring of course to the AWOL Watcher-Class Angels "taking wives (from among the limited number of fair daughters), of all whom they chose", which smacks of rape. This is in the Days of Jared (the Sixth from Adam IIRC) some 500 or 600 years after Creation/ 1000 years before the Great Flood.. Whereas the Post-Flood giants were human flesh and blood, infused with a spirit of one of those Pre-Flood slaughtered Nephalim giants. They were fully proportioned mortal beings; unlike Wadlow, who was tall but lanky and of course, could neither run nor jump in proportion to his size. Wadlow would have made a terrible soldier.

I appreciate all the research you’ve done. I would have included more than just the height of the tallest known man. I would include the height of the tall skeletons that have been found and the average height of the African tribe. They would show what was possible back then outside of the Israeli experience. As to the Pre-Flood, Days of Jared Nephilim; IIRC, the Book of Enoch, says no; the babies tore their way out, and the Mums died in childbirth. As to the Post-Flood Rephaim; this was long after the ascension of Enoch, and I cannot recall him saying anything about them. If I had to guess, I'd say the Rephaim started out as human babies, infused with the spirits of the slaughtered Nephalim, and the mothers lived on. IMO, this infusion had to have happened in the womb. Most of these cowboys were "invented" shortly after the Flood, by a descendant of Ham called Canain, or Canaim, and a guy named Nimrod . Most of the Tribal names of these giants, are the same as some of the sons of those two guys. One or two descendants of Japheth also did it, but in this story, Shem is a good guy, and didn't contribute to that wickedness. Of all the giants, pre or post flood, only one female is ever hinted at.

There is no record of any females among the Pre-Flood Nephalim giants, in the KJV nor in Book of Enoch, and I can't recall any in Book of Jubilees either. The Nephalim had immortal Angel Fathers The Post-Flood Giants are NOT Nephalim. They are called Rephaim. The Rephaim had Human parents, were NOT immortal, and evidently were allergic to hornets, which weakened them enough for Joshua and Calen, and their armies to finish most of them off. And yes, the KJV does talk about them having offspring. However, IIRC, only one female post-flood Rephaim Giant, is ever mentioned. So if those guys made babies, they better have been human sized during copulation.

@@ajforms4818 Or maybe Pre-flood humans were different in stature and size. After the flood according to the Sumerian texts. We were revamped, and lost our longevity. We also devolved from what Adam really was. So we probably lost some height, and muscle. Some Nephalim survived the flood. Women just weren’t mentioned. Nor were a lot of things.

Adding a little more data. Back in the times of Goliath the metal helmets worn by the Philistines had no internal suspension or padding other than a thin layer like cap of leather. Most of the padding came from the warrior's own hair, which was bundled and knotted on top of the head to provide plenty of padding for the helmet to rest on. This could have been several inches, so measuring Goliath with its helmet on would be imprecise at best (measure to within a micron, mark it with chalk, and cut it with an axe kind of accuracy)

Is that what it says? Look it up, report back; Book/Chapter/and verse. Scripture say that Angels are "the sons of God." Scripture says that when we get saved/redeemed, we are given "the power to become the Sons of God". Therefore, someday, I expect to be like an Angel. But putting that aside, what is the primary distinguishing thing that makes a son? Yeah that's right, he's a male, with the tools, and lacks breasts. Not one time in Scripture is there any mention of a "daughter of God", go search for it; not in Heaven, nor going to the New Kingdom. What do you suppose that means? Did God write women off? IDK. But one thing I know; woman was created to be a helpmeet. Helpmeet what? Well Gods first Commandment to Adam was to be fruitful and multiply. Adam couldn't do it by himself, so Eve was created to help Adam meet the Commandment. Whereas in the New Kingdom, procreation seems to be ancient history. If true, then there is no longer a need for a helpmeet. Besides, there's gonna be millions and millions of babies there already.

Bones of very large human bones have been found and collected by places like the Smithsonian Museum. There are no bones like that to be found there it is believed that the bones were destroyed. We have football players who are that tall, a 6’9 380 lbs high school player in DeSoto Texas or a 7 ft tall defensive lineman. I thought Goliath had 3 larger brothers?

I have to wonder if as you pointed out, there was a problem with translating a cubits actual length. There also may have been a loss of tranlating the word giant. Im sure that he was large but could the word giant also refer to his greatness in battle. I think we are still not fully sure of the meanings in the writings.

Goliath would have been 9 feet 6 to 11 ------ feet.

There were two lengths of the Egyptian cubit. One was the standard cubit (18.6in) and the royal cubit (20.65in). The standard cubit was applied to anyone who was not of the nobility. Whereas the royal cubit was applied only to royalty. A king was measured in royal cubits and everyone else was measured in standard cubits. Goliath would have been measured in standard cubits or (8'11") whereas king Og would have been measured in royal cubits (13' 6"). The ancient cubit was the same measurement throughout all the ancient cultures.

Have we ever considered the fact that the 'books' were written by 'dwarfs' or really short people? Therefore some natural tall people might be considered giants to them. Its all about the perspective of the writer, isn't it?

@@lukecage3485 Amen brother. But consider this; If you want to measure a lying-down, PreFlood Giant, what measurement would you use? Pick one: inch/foot/yard/rod/chain/furlong/mile. In school back in the 60s, I learned that a chain is 66ft. I'm going with chain, cuz, in a reasonable period of time, I can chain him out. Ten chains is 660ft. Now, in scripture, when the Angel is measuring the walls of New Jerusalem, he uses a rod. Why?, cuz it's appropriate. So; to measure a giant the height of a PRE-FLOOD Cedar, I would use a chain cuz it's appropriate. IMO, the measuring stick was not an ell. IMO, the 3000 ells was an up-converted measurement that was, at that time, easily recognized. Like saying the Giant was 10 chains tall, doesn't carry the same impact as saying the Giant was 660 feet tall, or nearly 8000 inches tall, yet they'ra all the same. See how 8000 gets your attention! Now, I don't know what measuring rod they actually used, nobody does. And nobody knows how tall a cedar of Lebanon might have been, PreFlood. So it's exactly like you said; "So we're just left to speculate." Here's another thing I consider; Watcher Angels still exist today, recording our Works. My guess is that they're still up in the Second Heaven. If ONE Watcher is to watch over several persons, He better have really good eyes, maybe even "giant-eyes". So what if the Watchers themselves, in their First Estate, were giants. And they lost that giant status when they landed on Mt.Hermon, at the same time that they gained their manliness. God says that all things reproduce after their own kind. Therefore, to satisfy God's Law of Reproduction, the offspring of a Watcher has to be a Giant, am I right? I mean this is a really simple solution to an age-old quandary. like you said; "So we're just left to speculate."

I was also looking for the height of giants for fun but pushed my research in all sorts of other areas such as the height of the Annunaki,Gilgamesh holding a lion under his arm like a small dog, Nimrod egyptian gods, Angels themselves, testimonies of people finding skeletons of giants between 1800 and 1950, doorframe on ancient buildings, giant books, giants swords found giving us an approximate size that a giant would have to be to be holding these items...not to forget the story of the giant of Kandahar, even interview with a person saying he mindspoke with a sasquatch creature saying that he is an Elioud descending from the Nephilim which the word poped out at me when i saw it in your video...trying to cover every area even going the Greek mythology route with the giants of 300 cubits could be referring to the Titans and the Olympians being around the height of some giants mentioned here...some mountains having the shape of giants petrified faces, again could be Greek Titans haha everything is good! I am a Christian, and a degreed student of the Scriptures and your explanation is plausible. I never could quite grasp the 3000 ells in 1 Enoch. I have written about the giants. There are several giants that are extant today. Obviously Mr. Wadlow passed away, but Mr. Sultan Kösen is a Turkish farmer holds the Guinness World Record for tallest living male at 8 ft. 2.82 in. I would also include the late Mr. Matthew McGrory, a Hollywood actor who was 7 feet 6 inches tall. I will also add Shaquille O'Neal, who is 7 foot 1 inch tall, and a very large (not fat) man. So your treatise is certainly plausible.

Another input if I may. The Nephilim were MUCH taller before the flood. The ones that came after were still very respectfully tall, but no where close to before the flood. My personal guesses are pre-flood, anything from 20 ft. to low-hundreds of feet tall. After the flood, 20 ft. tall maximum, to less.

Dude some guy in England figured out how to move 5 ton blocks using a few pebbles and sticks. Moving big stones isn't particularly hard with simple tools and mechanical advantage. You don't so much need a giant as at least one out of shape guy who knows what he is doing and enough manual labor. The moai where literally just walked to their spots by like 20 people with rope rocking the things from side to side. You don't need giants or aliens just practical knowledge.

There is a fellow who does a lot of interviews named Gary Wayne that has some interesting opinions on the Giants and has written a few books about what is in Gen 6.

The stone coffin belonging to Noah's wife was nearly 18 ft long when it was located by Ron Wyatt in the settlement below the Duprinar site of the resting place of Noah's Ark. Several 18 ft tall skeletons have been located in burial plots on both the Turkish and Saudi Arabian side of Mt Ararat. It appears that the Nephilim gene survived the flood through Noah's family. Or there is the possibility that the Genesis account is incorrect and a number of humans survived the flood.

The Bible says ALL DNA was corrupted except for Noah and his offspring ... so the degraded (non-angelic/human) Nephilim genes had to have crossed-over on the Ark via the wives chosen for Noah's sons in the weeks before the flood. That is why post flood giants were smaller in stature than pre-flood giants in my estimation ... just my view.

There is no Saudi Arabian side of Mount Ararat. Mt. Ararat is in northeastern Turkey just south of Russia. Saudi Arabia is way south. It is east of Egypt across the Red Sea.

LOST IN TRANSLATION: A few years ago, a PBS special had a historian that believes that the Nephilims were not giants but "lesser gods". Being compared to a god made the assumption that they must be giants. Neanderthals were huskier, stronger and bigger than modern humans. In the Carmel Mountain of Israel are caves where Neanderthals and modern humans co-existed. The former might be the Nephilims.

I would please like eyes on two videos on modern giants...can you or anybody here take a look at two videos with photos of giants? @lonecar144, There are two Hebrew words that appear nearly the same but are spelt differently. 1) נפיל/nephil (giant) and 2 נפל/nephal (fall). Try not to get these two mixed up, they mean two different things. If you refer to the plural in either case you simply add a ים/im to the end of the word. Nephil[I'm] means giants and nepal[I'm] means fallen.

Years ago I heard of a 25 ft, skeleton found in an Egyptian cave. And they had pictures of the find. But there wasn't any research done on it, or at least as far as I know.. And I googled and found an 11 ft skeleton. But again with no research. Maybe you could take a look into it. I love your videos and how you did all that research. Something I never could have done. In the Bible it says that Goliath is a descendant of the nephilim and he was 15 ft tall. And when God was bringing the Hebrew people to Israel it says that the people were like grasshoppers to the people who were living in at land at the time

The Spirit of Goliath was a Nephilim, whereas, his body was fully human, being a corrupted son of one of the descendants of Ham. Here we see God promising to Abraham, the entire "land of canaan", the land of the Giants. Genesis 15 "18In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: 19 The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, 20 And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, 21 And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the and the Jebusites." Here are some more I remember; the Amalalites, the three sons of Anak, the Hivites, You will find many of these names in the Table of Nations, as sons and grandsons of mostly Cush.

In the Bible doesn't say anything about the spirit of Goliath was a nephilim. It says that Goliath is a descendant of the nephilim. And the descendants of ham didn't have anything to do with the nephilim more than half of the nephilim was destroyed by the flood. Hands descendants are the black people and Arabs and the Indians. Any of the peoples with dark complected skin is a descendant of ham

David was short and a bully 😢. Goliath suffered from a hormonal disease that put him at a disadvantage against David and his slingshot. Goliath has an identifiable family tree suggestive of autosomal dominant inheritance. He was a giant, which made him slow, clumsy and probably half-blind (double vision is a common side-effect of an excess of human growth hormone), suffered from a pituitary gland disease called acromegaly.

Seems the giants have done all a lot of intensive gym exercises. Maybe they were involved in many bodybuilding contests

Over the years of just regular research and learning, I guestimated the Nephilim to be approximately between 8-10 feet which fits in with all of the research you've done. Nice job. I would also agree that Goliath did not necessarily have to be extremely tall just to be strong. I had a friend who had a small frame, had to be about 5 ft something, and was a police officer. She was able to bench press about 300 lbs.

Goliath was only 9 or 10 ft.tall but they have found spears,armour, buildings and a few skelitans that makes apoint that Goliath obviously wasnt the largest.

Come to think of it, wasn't the bit where the soldiers compared themselves to Grasshopper to the giants just some scouts lieing about the enemy because they wanted to avoid having to go to war? Does anyone know what veirs that is?

I once made the search for what a cubit once and I came with over twelve different solutions depending on the place, nation, etc. The measure could range from nowadays 38 cm and up to 64 cm. An interesting cubit however was the Royal Egyptian cubit that measured 52.3 cm, whether or not that was the one they used at some point, taken that Moses parted with his people from Egypt.

David didn't measure Goliath on the Battle Field So I am picturing David, who has just knocked out Goliath. He is facing off with his enemies. Then David says, "wait, wait... Hold on! ” pulls out a measuring tape. Measures Goliaths height. Then takes Goliaths sword and cuts his head off with it. Then looks at his enemies and says, " Ok, I am done now. "

why also, do some translations say as tall as cedar trees ? 150 feet.??

I am thinking that and the comparison of the people to grasshoppers are figures of speech or metaphoric language. I'll do some research on that as well and include it if I do a Part 2

I read a number of years ago that the Egyptian cubit was 20.75 inches, in an article about Noah's ark.
