@@eurovisiontszai9125 It's not really true. I wouldn't consider it a warm climate. It is the same climate as Central/Eastern Europe and Southern Scandinavia and we drink all sorts of alcohol, just like any Eastern European country. Producing wine is just "tradition" here.

@@albanianking6402 Our wine is also quite good, thus one of the reasons we drink a lot, but it's generally the people in villages that drink a lot cuz they got big vineyards. (Example: My grandparent has a vineyard and his drunk friends visit him a lot to drink his wine.)

@@gutsjoestar7450 People We just google how alcohol consumption has changed in Russia. It increased only when Stalin allowed the sale of alcohol and when the economic crisis began in the second half of the 80s.

Not surprising, in Europe we produce some of the best wines, beers and liquors. I'm surprised that my French neighbor in the south consume more than my country Belgium :D Probably because beers have a much lower alcohol content than wines.

I am from Bulgaria, which is at number 9. We do not drink and party that much. I will give you more evidence why the opposite is true after I return from the binge drinking party I am going to.
