I ain't good at world history. What happened to the Russian army especially in 1837? With such an army population it doesn't look like any foe could do that without taking heavy casualties. I've not yet found this foe. "Even an army of pigs could not be wiped out in a couple of days"

This is what happened to Japan.

Its interesting to see the U.S.'s numbers explode from 1861-1865 due to the civil war, then go right back down. Historians often consider it the first modern war resulting from technology coming out of the industrial revolution, and the numbers seem to reflect that.

Really, the all feared Germany cause Germans had the best soldiers. At Leros in November 1943 only 470 German Brandenburgers defeated a island Garrison of 8.500 British and Italian men. In March 1945 only 37 German planes fought an air battle against 2000 American planes and shot down at least 12 of them withouth losses. At Hürtgenwald, the Americans weren't able for months (!!!) to won the battle despite they outnumbered the Wehrmacht troops there 3:1, had total Air and Artillery superiority and the Germans ran out of ammo. Same at the Eastern front, from 1943 on SS panzer divisions often fought battles with 50 - 100 tanks against 1.500 to 2.000 Bolshevik tanks and even won some of these skirmishes.

@@syrc7100 I know cause I understand it seems to be really unbelievable. However, all of that it's true: Leros at 11/12 1943, the 470 brave Brandenburgers under Friedrich-Wilhelm Müller who take Leros despite extremely outnumbered; 3/18 1945 the 37 Me-262 which shot down 12 out of 1853 American planes (13 B-17 and 6 Mustangs due to other sources) and lost no plane (American claim 2 Me-262, but the 2 Me-262 where just damaged and repaired); Hürtgenwald (everyone who sa some knowledge in military history knows about it, the American lost more soldiers in that single battle than in entire Vietnam war and the SS tank divisions at the Eastern front (admitted some of the best were from Norway like the "Viking" division) against the Bolshevik superiority. Do you know that Germany had not less than 104 super aces with 100 or more air victories while no allied pilot had 100 or more kills (the best allied pilot, Ukrainian Ivan Koshedub, had 66). Allied officers acknowledged it. Here just one of thousands of examples. The American Officer Benjamin P. Walker, who said: „The German’s were the toughest sons-of-bitches ever known on a battlefield. I would rather fight 100 Italians rather than one seasoned German grunt.“

Well the allies really didn’t give Germany a choice besides to go to war after the Treaty of Versailles. The genocide was unnecessary but when you fuck a country to the point that a vast majority of your citizens can’t afford bread, you get a leader like Hitler who promises change. That’s why we helped Germany and Japan after the war.
