Seeing as he snapped before and after (which is usually used by ASMRtists to quickly see where they need to edit) I think it wasn't intentional that he left it in. I agree though, it's such a Jack thing to do!

You know in some instances it is annoying the camera focusing on the forward most object in sight but in this instance it literally makes the most sense because that is what our eyes do when a weapon is involved in a situation. When a weapon is involved people focus on the weapon so much that they will have trouble focusing on and later remembering and describing what else happened and the appearance of those involved. It's a phenomena in eye witness/victim testimony.

Fun fact: fred actually lived in the pirates of the carribean attraction at disney for 2 weeks to get into character. He drank only attraction water and stale popcorn and dodged every cast member when the park closed

10:28 - 11:06 ah yes, I remember the movie scene where Jack accidently breaks the 4th wall by fixing the beads on his hair while looking at an off-screen camera

im not very far in but im already immensely impressed by the quality of the getup and how you managed to get the camera to cooperate (the shifting focus between you and the gun in the beginning was superb)

I dare say that this is Fred’s best character. It works so well and the sounds are amazing too! 😁

Fun fact :the cock in real guns has only 2 positions not 3.The first is the half -cocked position for loading the pan with powder , the second position is set for firing.Denix replicas allows 3 due to the wheel in the trigger mechanism.
