Your candy takes me back to my childhood. We always had ribbon candy, candy canes, fruit and nuts in our stocking… never toys etc… I am almost 70 and those memories are clear as a bell.

Last time I watched this I was drooling and had to try to make it. Unfortunately I didn’t have a candy thermometer, only an instant read thermometer and I couldn’t seem to get the mix up to hard crack. It ended up being a hard but chewy candy though it tasted fantastic. Now I’m craving some kind of brittle but not sure what kind I want yet.

we add baking soda right at the end and that is what makes it puffy!

Do you make peco brittle? I think its coconut and peanut together.

I was wondering if the new guy was learning myself. I don't see him doing much in the videos, he is kinda stuck out. I know to learn he has to be able to do and speed will come with the more he is allowed to do. Bless his heart it seems like he is not given opportunities that much from videos. Maybe others are just use to taking it all on over 🙁

If you read the comments on these vids these people have commenters saying, “oh, I miss your banter”, then people like you saying, “great, no talking, you’re all annoying”. They can’t please you all, but if you like the video visuals, the easiest solution is to just turn the volume off. Then you can still support the channel that is trying to bring content to people that all want something different.
