It is kind of funny, in 1971 two great democracies UK and USA were supporting dictatorial Pakistan and ready to attack a democratic India, rule based has to be a norm and not sudden awakening. In international relations all countries take care of their national interest first.

His dealings at the podium was completely relaxed, precise and reliable, his speech was clear and a pleasure to listen to. Given that both Jaishankar and his father served and retired from MEA, I do hold them both responsible for some of the worst diplomatic decisions that Indian governments have taken in the past. Blaming just previous Indian PMs for bad security and foreign policy decisions in the past is simply not right, in my opinion. The mandarins at the top level of the Indian government have to hold up their hands and accept some accountability, since the government is acting on their advice. Besides EAM Jaishankar is so very patriotic, that all his kids are settled abroad and most probably foreign citizens! Desh bhakt hon toh aise - it happens only in India!! Ab bajaiye taali!!

A lot of arguments the West makes doesn't make sense to me each time they try to justify: 1. The invasions 2. Their support for dictators 3. Toppling of foreign govts 4. Using the national endowment for democracy to fund protests, riots, rebels, opposition parties in foreign govts 5. Supply of weapons to terrorist to fight US enemies 6. The total disregard for the sovereignty of other nations to make their own choices on trade partnerships and allies. 7. The use of the IMF and World Bank to impoverished certain nations through debt traps and unfavorable loan conditions 8. The list goes on. I mean, they do all this, and say we can't and shouldn't be questioned for all we do but turn around and question everyone else excluding their allies.

Internal peace is difficult when you a significant number of jihadis in the nation (not blaming every muslim). CCPs Xinjiang re-education camps and policies have helped them to achieve harmony within China. However, in a democratic India vote bank politics helps these elements to get a golden ticket to do-it-all-with-no-consequences. India imports 85% of its oil needs, and if the energy imports are going to increase, it will set in high inflation, and the Reserve Bank will increase the interest rates,, and economy will suffer hugely, and India being part of global productivity, in will effect the US and West largely,, Let the US and West localize the war in Ukraine and not Globalize its ramifications, Just like how the Yemen Saudi war. the West has not taken steps to Globalize it, hence oil price has not effected the world.

India has the most potential to improve its passport index ranking which are actually synonymous with good relation but sadly it's only potential .Despite India being so neutral our global ranking is 67 and overall it's 140 which is very sad because we are not demanding it Jaishankar ji pls work on it so that Indian's can travel with Pride. Apart from this out goal should be to befriend the abandoned ones like Latin American countries, etc . Btw it's very imp to improve our global image due to which many Indian's face racism and are called curry-naan , call centre scammers country and whatnot. May Almighty Allah bless this country to become the most powerful. 😅😅 I know it's too long.
