Gabby asking Ashley if Sir Alex was at still at Old Trafford, would he put his arm around Rashford and Sancho and take them out for a meal and explain what it is all about playing for Man Utd, if Sir Alex was still charge at Old Trafford, without doubt he would put his arm around Rashford and Sancho and take them out through the Old Trafford exit door and tell them to never return again.

This is nonsense. I’ve met Alex F and he’s a really lovely man. He understands people so the fact you think he will just treat them like a piece of meat is ridiculous The amount of challenges he solved was ridiculous Don’t drag the person down by stating he was brutal like a barbaric animal, that’s not facts

Ha the chips I remember Rio talking about that. It's probably a bigger mistake than people realise removing something that players..ok could live without. Margins on fitness obviously have to be tightly controlled to remain competitive at that level. But morale is also important for those margins in a game and you want your environment to be top in class when it comes to training and diet etc but you still need a human element and a notion of something to look forward to, to keep motivation and morale going. When all your doing is eating pasta for breakfast each day and going through the same training drills I know chips on a Friday would be a big thing for me to look forward to. What you lose in fitness you gain in player satisfaction. All of these factors matter on the pitch.

Am not sure how I feel about this win. We have the Europa for next season but I don't think we have the squad to rotate and remain competitive in domestic competitions and in Europe also. And we won't be able to recruit as we need to either, what with FFP to worry about.

If only Sir Alex was younger by 10-15 years (aka around Carlo Ancelotti's age). Because then we would have got a proper Sir Alex vs Pep Guardiola rivalry just like we're seeing with Don Carlo vs Pep. Pep was lucky he only met Sir Alex twice in two one off games. Sir Alex literally proved that he adapted and beat all his challengers. First Wenger came and beat Sir Alex, then Sir Alex adapted, beat Wenger, and won 3 PL titles in a row. He then did the same to Mourinho, Mancini, Ancelotti, and Benitez. And I'm 100% sure if Sir Alex was 60 instead of 70 years old and did not retire in 2013 due to family reasons, he'd have adapted to the Pep challenge and beaten him too (not to forget Sir Alex did beat Pep 2-1 in a match just one month after the 2011 UCL final so he was already starting to figure out Pep's tactics).
