My dad used to wake up every morning at 4:30am on weekends here in Canada for work & my 8-10yr old self would come downstairs & have breakfast with him while there would be BPL games on. I remember seeing this guy c. ronaldo with huge ear studs and thinking that guy's cool. I started playing football and tried to replicate everything he did and the ball has been my dearest friend ever since. When tragedy hit, sadness, lows, even highs, I would take my ball put on one of my ronaldo shirts and go kick a ball to forget about life's difficulties. I absolutely love this game until my very last breath and it all comes full cycle here now that he's back home and this interview is icing on the cake. Thank you cris and sir alex, thank you manchester united from all the kids that had a football flame ignite in them when Cristiano Ronaldo wore a United shirt.

Never seen a better relationship between a player and a coach its just epic reminds me of old days those were really the golden days but still want Sir Alex Ferguson to stand on the pitch with Cristiano scoring the goals and there won't be a better Man United Coach like Sir Alex he knows and understands the club better than anyone else not only the GOAT among coaches but truly Cristiano's football father

Even if the club is in turmoil right now, for us longtime fans of the club this puts a smile on our face. We grew up watching these two, this beautiful nostalgia is a luxury many fans of other clubs can't afford.

I've been a fan since 96 but my first trip to OT was in 2017.. Went again Dec 2 against arsenal to finally see Ole and Ronaldo at OT... I got one of them and at least he scored 2...siuuuuuuu!

I become Manchester United fans after Champions League 1999 final against Bayern Munich.. It was an epic game! From there i knew what a coach was Sir Alex Ferguson is.. A true champions, great person.. He is still one of the best in term of Man Managements.. How he shape all the class 98, how he create Cristiano Ronaldo from an ordinary young boy from Madeira to become Manchester United Legends.. Both Sir Alex and Cristiano is the real GOAT..

This made my day as I have reflections of moments like these with my dad and to see the GOAT CR7 sit alongside his football dad Sir Alex Ferguson sharing memories is just wonderful.

Two big legends

Ronaldo is a natural phenomenon, no one has created him. What Sir Alex and the club did for him is provide him the right guidance. He was playing with Keane, Scholes and others, that kind of a thing rubs onto you. There were a lot of things that happened to Ronaldo at the right time, Sir Alex included. Fathers don't create prodigies, they give them the outlay to release their energy. Real Madrid also played their role with him. I do think Sir Alex is the greatest coach there ever was - it's only natural that he was able to guide and influence another great in Ronaldo. But Ronaldo is Ronaldo. Coaches hone the rough diamond, but a diamond is a diamond.

There is some kind of mutual respect between both of them!
