@@asterlofts1565 nah bro. Sorry to tell you thia, but that show is overhyped and people who havent heard of it joined the bandwagon. 🤷
What makes this moment so special, so magical, is the fact that Ash has lost so many times in the past. He was beaten, both in strength and in the mental game, more times than one could count, and yet never gave up despite how slow his progress was. When he won Alola, it was unbelievable. And now, it’s too good to be true. He defied the impossible and with sheer willpower, finally succeeded, not because of the power of friendship, but because of his dedication to his Pokemon and his never give up attitude. This was the culmination of all of his experiences throughout 8 regions, and by his side was none other than Pikachu, the one who grew alongside Ash just as much as he has grown. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that they’re one in both heart mind body and soul. Congratulations for making me bawl my eyes out no matter how many times I rewatch this scene, something no other show or movie has been able to do before.

What makes it even better is that Ash proved that he was the best by overcoming the Champions and absolute legends of each of the regions where he had lost- and none of them were pulling any punches. Steven, Cynthia, Iris, Allan (who he has lost to in a previous competition), he proved that he and his Pokemon friends could not only stand toe to toe with them as equals, but overcome them as well.

Well, guess now he can finally wake up from the coma, considering this reality is so fake that every single character has not aged a single day since episode one. Seriously, I wasn't a big fan of the coma theory, but seeing that even Max (May's brother) is still EXACTALLY THE SAME gives a lot of credibility for this being a dream. If not, then this entire universe has been frozen in time by some eldritch horror that pretends to be Arceus, and all we have ever seen from the Pokémon world is a joke made by a trickster God.

@@rei_cultist I agree with still not a master pokemon because they are the ones who can control and handle any type of pokemon and make them reach their max potential. But the "he is nowhere near" i think is a little off, we are talking about the guy the befriend as many legendary pokemons as they are in the game, we are talking about the guy that understand his pokemon the best and in this season could talked to a Lugia and let him ride him on his back. The guy who had saved the world a millions time and many pokemons. Died for his pokemons once (and let me tell you that when he did, allll the Pokemon around him cried). Has gain even the God (Arceus) respect and has create a unique style of battle, one which is one of the healthiest style i had seen in the franchise. He is not a master pokemon because he still need to prove himself as the tamer of every pokemon and to make different battle styles for any partner he encounters in the way. But he is not on the bad track and there is great potential that one day (a very near day) he will get it. Sorry for bad grammar (english not my first language)

I can’t describe the feelings I got from this episode…. I have watched this since it first aired and Pokémon has been a huge part of my life. I remember waiting for new episodes to air on kids WB, Saturday mornings. It’s been a long time coming seeing this moment! I’m so glad I got to see it!
I've been following Ash's journey since the very beginning. For decades, we've been used to seeing him lose. Him winning against all the strongest trainers in the world is enough to make a grown man cry He's finally closer in achieving his dream
My childhood flash before my eyes
The fact that Ash is still 10, I can't believe he got Pikachu and became a pokemon champion in just a year!
I literally shed tears ash been through so much literally left his home traveled across the world at the age of 10 to pursue his dream what man can not relate to this it takes courage and strength to do this
The fact that Pikachu though he let ash down once again is heartbreaking till he realizes he finally did it for the both of them .
what gets me the most is....there are fans that have waited literal decades for this moment.....and there are fans that can take the entire journey by bingeing for a month.....i am in no way knocking the newer fans by any means. it just feels there cannot help but be a lack of mutual appreciation, those of use that spent the decades of time invested cannot possibly be compared to those that can marathon the journey. the culmination is beautiful and im happy all fans can enjoy it, i guess its just one of those "you just had to live it" type of feelings. that does not take away from newer fans or make older fans more special, just different.
This was the anime version of your favorite NFL team winning the Super Bowl.
Love how at some points everyone went quiet due to how intense this episode is
This is the second time I watched the episode and I still can't help but have tears whenever I see Butterfree. Gen1 mons hit differently, I still remember the day I cried so hard when he had to set Butterfree free. :((

I havnt watched Pokémon in years, but I remember watching it growing up as a little girl, way back when it was Ash, Misty and Brock. Sounds cheasy, but I'm proud of Ash. He finally won. I'm probably going to cry. This reminds me of when Naruto finally became Hokage. All the Anime icons we grew up with, they finally achieved there goals in life. The shows we grew up with, cartoons, animes even Disney shows, in a way, we grew up with those characters, they raised us, they were like the friends, siblings, parents we never had, that's why for us who grew up with watching these shows, for us it's THAT emotional. People who grew up with all these icons are either early 30's or late 20's. Sadly the younger kids won't know or understand why for us, it means so much to us. One last examples... When I found out that the actor who played Hagrid in Harry Potter passed away, I literally sobbed for an hour, when I found out that the voice actor for Chief Aramaki from Ghost_in_the_Shell passed away, I prayed for him. For us, these characters, hell even the actors who played them, they raised us, they were part of our lives, they gave us HOPE, for alot of us, we clung to these characters just to get through another day. I'll always carry these memories, characters in my heart ♥️💞♥️💞♥️💞 And Ash? You finally did it buddy, you won!!!!! You and Pikachu deserve a long rest, thank you for making our childhood a very memorable one, we love you and we will never forget you!!!!!

I can’t believe it. I’ve been waiting 20 years for this. I stumbled across it today and it’s magical. I’m glad I lived long enough to witeness this moment 🙏🙏
ngl this made me cry. a lot. i grew up watching a ton of pokemon, ive seen the whole thing start to finish. for ash to finally be crowned champion and his story possibly being over makes me realize how much ive grown with him. its amazing yet sad that its been this long
I'm crying watching this, my childhood punched me square in the heart
I watched this show and remember when it first came out. I cried a little when I saw ash finally lift the trophy and become the very best like no one ever was!!!!!!!!!!!
Back in the days, if you were to claim to everyone that Ash would eventually win a Pokemon league & then participate in a tournament of champions and ultimately become the ultimate champion, everyone would laugh at you & mock you...but now here we are.....Ash has become the best that no one ever was.
Ash did it. He finally achieved his goal...and it ONLY TOOK HIM 25 YEARS but who's counting. This was well earned. I’m 23 and I cried when he won! I grew up watching this show ever since I was first introduced to this mega franchise at 7 or 8 after witching Pokémon 2000 the move, I remember my first time enjoying these adorable pocket monster, and after watching so many wonderful episodes and witnessing some amazing and legendary battles it all came down to this moment! . A small part of me kinda wishes he had an all star team of Pokémon from all his adventures like Ceptile, Infernape, Greninja, Charizard, Kroocadile and so forth, but I cant complain since this team of his FINALLY included Dragonite, Gengar and Lucurio...three Pokemon which I wish he had prior to Pokémon Journeys but I'm happy he has them in his roster now. Congratulations Ash Ketchum of Pallet Town, you are finally a Pokémon Master!

Ash , close to 40 years old , finally managed to became the strongest ; although his goal of "pokemon master" is still unclear to even it's own creator 😂

his current team should be his last team.
9:54 Ash- I did it? Gary-he did it… Paul- he did it… Ash- I really did it… Trip-he really did it… Alan- he finally did it….
i know motivating someone to bounce back or fight back is cliche, but this thing is super powerful! it fits so well! up there with Endgame's final battle, one of the most iconic moments in film history!
Gotta be happy for Ash but also for Pikachu, who refused to evolve to Raichu so that he can become stronger in the form he chose to be. Pokemon has come a long way. This meant a lot for the fans that grew up with pokemon

and why, by the way, pikachu doesn’t evolve hot, I still don’t understand. Pokemon evolution is like growing up.

@@ediakin4993 Pikachu can only evolve into Raichu by using a Thunder Stone and no growing up and evolution is not the same thing in the Pokemon universe. There have been plenty of instances where we have seen old Pokemon that are still in their first forms.

@@ediakin4993 Pikachu didn’t want to evolve. Ash tried to give him a Thunder Stone but Pikachu declined his offer which showcases how determined Pikachu is to get stronger in his current form.

We all got so board with Ash...now it breaks our hearts to see him go. He really is a Pokemon Master.
10:00 That guy in the upper left made me cry! Cheers my man! Cheers to you! 😊

they have been the writers of the anipoke for 25 years, they know how to elicit the feels.
It was a really long road, but our boy Ash actually won the whole thing.
Awesome. Truly amazing, especially the power up Piakchu got from his friends. It was so emotional seeing Ash’s past teams and friends and I always feel sad for some reason. But now let’s have a new protagonist, a more serious anime, set in the Kanto region, something like Origins.
We have waited for 20 years for this moment, unbelievable
I remember watching pokemon premier in 98, I was 3, watched ash beat Leon with my at the time 7 year old son, surreal don't even begin to explain the emotion man, as a life long pokemon fan seeing this with my own child was prolly the closest I've been to bliss, we did it lads
First Naruto, now Ash the only one who is missing now. Luffy become King of the Pirates.
Lowkey team Rocket commended for pikachu for being strong They trained ash Pikachu for the whole 25 years 🤣
I cried a hell lot bro whenever I see this episodes this is my motivation in bad times and most importantly this was my childhood
This is bigger than any sports event for most people it's like watching your best friend achieve their dream
Man seeing adult get so happy for this makes me even more happy
