Jim, you can shut off the flow to that pipe by getting a rubber ball attach it to a stick lower it down on the inside of the tank and put it on the outlet hold it there till you cut the line. The pressure will hold the ball in place while you could a put a valve there

Wow, here I was thinking he shoud drain the tank to fix the pipe properly! The best solution is too obvious sometimes! But those pipes do deserver better protection and valvles right at the exit point for a long-term solution.Thankfully the whole pipe didn’t simply fracture….what a mess that would have been. Would love to see them try this ball-stop method.

Thanks for sharing Jess. I was not diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder until I was 63. It is so much easier now that I can better understand why I interact with the world differently then some other people. Being Neuro-spicy, as a fun term for it, has its advantages too. You and Jim are doing an amazing job on your homestead. I love watching.❤

Hi Jess and Jim, this is an example of how you both have grown together over the years. Jess, you are who you are and the main thing that I suggest is that you work with what the stumbling blocks are for you. You know yourself and awareness of the condition is helpful but doesn’t define you. God bless you both. I enjoy sharing these with you and have been following for a while. Jim, on the water tanks, when I installed my tanks I valves each before connecting pipes. I also admire your alignment with Jess, the way you accept, respect and negotiate your way through what we see of your lives. You both are in my prayers and I look forward to each video. Stay safe and healthy.

Jessica, what you shared was beautiful. There are a lot of adults in the world that are on the spectrum. Many have never been diagnosed, but still the evidence is there. I've suspected that I was autistic for a while now. However, at 60+ years old, no one really cares about it or other things like diseases take precedence. Anyway, social awkwardness is something I know a lot about. So excited for your new build. Can't wait to see it. ❤❤❤

Same here. And you tend to wonder whether a diagnosis would be a disadvantage in some way, with higher insurance premiums and restrictions being placed on you. Much as I would like an official diagnosis, I decided not to further burden our broken British NHS with it at the age of 66. I have, instead, completed a load of online tests, and have never had one that placed me less than halfway along the positive outcome scale. Many autism channels on YT post links to such tests in the descriptions.

I'm so happy for you that you have a great man like Jim. He couldn't have picked a sweeter person than you and that he is there to support you through it all. I also understand your health struggles. I was diagnosed in 2001 with Fibromyalgia and Sensory Overload issues. I too am living a pretty solitaire life away from chaos. May God watch over you and give you peace.
