The arteza require more shaking if they come out runny like that. I learned the hard way 😂! But there’s just no comparison to them and poscas in general but they’re more expensive. I love the matte finish on poscas. Ya, if either posca or arteza are streaky try shaking them again. Arteza says shake them AT LEAST 30 seconds before use. I didn’t before I found that out and it made a big difference

I am a traditional fine art artist who works in acrylics. Recently i wanted to add some fine lines to a painting, but felt that using a brush would be too chancy given my shaky hand. I wondered if there were acrylic find tip markers and sure enough I found them. I settled for the Artistro (30) which I ordered from Amazon. OK now I have all these pens when I was thinking I only needed 1 black extra fine point pen! I decided to experiment on some old paintings to add accents etc. I quickly fell in love with them! I had a gift card for Micheals and found a set of PASCO (8). It's nice to be able to make some small changes to my paintings without having to pull out my tubes of paint and palette. You can use these markers over acrylic paint!

It was great to see them compared on different item not just paper. I plan on using paint pens for things like wood and canvas. When it comes to paper I’ll just use my brushes to paint. So thanks!

I love my Arteza acrylic markers and wondering if I can refill them or should I toss and buy more?

Hey this was super helpful! I was struggling to find the write markers to draw on canvas boards. You sorta kinda answered for me with the canvas shoes, but I wonder if it will be the same on actual canvas boards.

I'm glad you found it helpful! Both markers should perform well on canvas boards, I have used the Posca markers on canvas board and they did just fine! 😄

Does anyone else have issues w flipping the original nib and it not going all the way in? I have the bigger nib (would be a 5m on poscas) and when I flip the original over to use the finer tip, it will not go all the way in. If I forget and try to put the lid on, it ruins the nib. It works ok w the replacement nibs but they’re fine tip on one end and chisel on the other. So they’re not as bulky as the 5m size nib trying to go into the barrel.

I have had plans to work on wood with both of these markers, the next video I have coming out isn't that but I plan on making it in the future!

HI! may I just ask from where you have the POSCA pens? I'm from Czech Republic and we are so smole state so we don't have here much shops. but the ARTEZA MARKERS I can found in some shop. Do you think that the POSCA pens are real better Because I cant POSCA find Anywhere. Thank you so much! :)

Hi! Mostly (from what I've seen) Posca markers are only available online. Some stores do carry them, but not many. If you're wanting to get the Posca markers, then you'll likely have to order online. I think the Arteza markers are a great alternative, so really it just depends on your budget and preference. But, if finding or purchasing Posca markers is a challenge for you then I think Arteza will work just fine!

The follow up has not yet been posted for a couple of reasons: I was out of town for the holiday, which prevented me from uploading and although I tried to upload before my trip, something happened to the footage I already had of the speed paint and I was unable to fix it, so I had to re-film. You're not crazy, its still needing to be uploaded! It should be up in the next week or so 😁

Hi! I checked out your channel and the next video is showing that it’s for gouache. They are sorted by newest first. Did you end up deciding against posting the speed paint/questions video? Or am I just losing my friggin mind? Haha

So I want to buy a big set of acrylic paint pens for gundams tagging toy trains etc can anyone tell me 100% that arteza are worth it??? Like I don’t wanna spend 100$ on posca if I don’t have to again… I’ve only ever used posca and they last forever please someone help me
