Had the wrong tab open, used with the wrong Wordle starter, and got obsessed with the THREE BODY PROBLEM in Connections...Can you say ADHD???

I am very familiar with ADHD as well as OCD. This is probably why I often allow the RED HERRINGS to conquer me in Connections. I think you and the others can NOW understand why I am never in these tournaments, Art. I HAVE entered other tournaments in my lifetime being successful and I DO have my strengths. ☺️

Art, I want to acknowledge how generous you've been with your time AND energy AND money. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. I'd love to do this kind of thing for people, but I could only afford to donate a small fraction of the time AND energy AND money that you have contributed to this community. Thanks, Art! I still enjoy watching your videos and sharing results with each other even though we are not in a more formal competition. I've enjoyed these "compete with myself" months using the same scoring that we used in April.

Thanks for giving the clocks to April winners and for all the generosity and time you put into the tournament.

Three body problem is also the title of a scifi book that recently got adapted into a netflix show! It's pretty popular now so I think that placement was definitely intentional

WORDLE: QUART HYPES COLIN PROUD (I opened the start of your video to confirm what letter we were on so I was able to pivot to Q.) STRANDS 104, 8 No chance at super hard mode today; I played it on a laptop with a touchpad so it was tricky getting it to register my guesses. Took a while to find the spangram even though I saw several theme words and I KNEW it ended with LIFE. Total solve time with the mouse struggles was 6:18, so it's doubtful that I would have gotten it under 5 even if I had my home computer setup. I did not remember the correct word, so I took your lead and used QUART. So: Got it in three, and in less than 20 seconds: QUART FLOUR PROUD

Wordle in 3 PEACH POINT PROUD Connections: One mistake, but got all categories. Think I got it in under 5 minutes too. Happy about this cause I know next to nothing about sports. Strands: Nailed this! I absolutely love ocean life, so it took me less than a minute to solve this one. Spangram first too.

A floater is a shot taken from medium short range that is soft and goes high in the air. Usually you see it if a player is driving to the basket in the lane and an opponent gets in the way and the offensive player tries to shoot it over them. Not knowing that SKATE is a fish and unfamiliar with basketball terms FLOATER/THREE. The ONE AWAY KING often gets close to getting all four categories. I was GREAT in Wordle/Strands. I made a wise decision NEVER being in these tournaments. I have entered other tournaments in my lifetime. 😊

Why would the Basketball category be yellow??? I was fine with the terms DUNK/LAYUP. And a SKATE fish???

@@hopechazz I agree! But for people who follow sports, especially basketball, I guess it would be easy. Like you, I've heard of DUNK and LAYUP, but I wasn't sure which sport they went with. Had no idea what FLOATER or THREE meant. I eventually got this category only by elimination and guessing, and after making one mistake.
