Nice to see you all back on the road.Enjoyed the video, thanks. Our next door neighbours have just bought a 3 year old Auto Trail 700 Apache I couldn't get in it though been in a w/chair but looks very nice and well looked after too.

Believe it or not, we managed to walk up to the top dog walk, up the steps, onto the unmade track to the main road, back down to the site entrance and the second dog walk down to our service pitch near the toilet block, all with the dog push chair, never again, much too steep for our late sixties. All I would say for the service pitches in your later years, have one near the toilet block, you and Jenny must be a lot fitter than us if you like the top service pitches. The only thing we did not like about the refurbishment, was that they do not intend to have a pay phone, even though mobile phone signals are hit and miss ? All the wardens were very helpful and friendly, apart from the weather we enjoyed the peace and quiet, lovely site.

We stayed here last year. Not one of our favourite sites (only due to the noise we experienced from the outdoor activity centre next door*) but it's ideally placed in lovely surroundings in a beautiful part of the UK. We were down the bottom on pitch 66 with nice views. Refurbishment looks good and completed to a very high standard. Great vlog. * Just seen your same comment at 22:43 :)

Thanks for this clip... great info and the toilet blocks look far better than they used to be! Have they improved the hard standing pitches, as they used to regularly get flooded?

Thanks, yes they have re-gravelled the pitches to provide better drainage.

I think I mentioned the mobile signal in our last video at Troutbeck kzread.info/dash/bejne/noyekslyj9CslKg.html it was pretty good. I don't use site WiFi anymore so can't tell you about that.

I can't believe you have to hand shift the vehicle. All that traffic, narrow roads, roundabouts, and then you have to think about shifting and driving with one hand. OMG

Thanks, but the camera is fixed to the windscreen, so both hands should be on the wheel. ;-)

Hi bob and Jenny ,I am getting a tow car to tow with my motorhome,can you tell me. is it much extra a night on touring sites keep up the good work 👍

Thanks for the question, we've never had to pay any extra for the car when on campsites, it's the same as a car and a caravan.

Hi Bob I'm fairly new to your videos and was just wondering where Tara is? Is she your dog or do you look after her from time to time. Also what did you both used do as for a living and do you have children/grandchildren. Nice to have a background. Maybe you have already done a blog on this before.
