Lovely memories for us Bob as we went to Aira Force 26 years ago on the way back from getting married at Gretna Green. Now we have our motorhome we must go back there and the Kirkstone pass inn. Thank you.

Hello Bob and Jenny, We watch your channel together and love all the tours ❤️ this walk was beautiful ❤️ the scenery reminded me of our old cottage in heptonstall. The approach to the campsite was so pretty. It's on our to visit list but, out of high season.

Nice walk/drive, we would definitely have not completed that walk, probably we would not have started it, much too many steps and slopes ? We would have been contented with an easy morning/shower then the drive in the afternoon. Thanks for the tour, very tiring will make us sleep tonight. We enjoyed station park in Moffat, even in the rain, very flat with very good flower beds, no vandalism ! Short walk round the shops, then an afternoon snooze, definitely getting old ? Looking forward to your Privacy Room demonstration, we have the DVD demonstration , will be able to compare your finished effort ? Good Luck.

Bob McKay , Thanks for the Spitfire info, went round the park this morning, went down Glebe Road and viewed the plane, would not have found it with no info, obviously not on the tourist route ? Very interesting, also a Westie in the owners window, barking all the time we were viewing. Off to Dunbar on Friday, any more history info just let me know on coljen.com@icloud.com Regards, Colin, Jen and Max Humphries. PS Any tips for older dogs much appreciated ?

Thoroughly enjoying your holiday! Your photography is excellent that I hesitate to offer any advice but my GoPro SD card used to work lose When videoing on a bumpy road, giving rise to the error notice. Could this be the problem. Looking forward to tomorrow's instalment. You are so like John and I. I am the accountant, he the driver. We have a autocruise wentworth 2005. So like your star fire - just a bit longer. Same upholstery, seahorse, moving wall in the shower. Enjoy your travels and thank you for allowing me a peak! X

First question : who built the stone walls along the road ? Are they State Owned, or Private Property owned ? How old are they ? Centuries Old ? Second question : So, when someone steals something, the person (s) are identified as : someone who has Nicked something ??? Did I spell the word Nicked, right ? Here, where I'm from, we just say : thief - you thief - or - you stole that ? or you steeler..... Well, thanks for the country dive - very peaceful , pretty, etc....

Good questions. The stone walls started I think, from the 1604 to 1914 Inclosures Act. They were built by local people to enclose the fields. They are still maintained by local people. Yes I think the slang word 'nicked' comes from being caught or nicked on something when stealing.
