I remember when ARMA2 launched, it was my favorite thing in the world to sit and play CTI Capture the Island for hours and hours. Not sure what people are playing anymore on Arma3, I played KOTH for a long time but CTI has always been my favorite. Spawning as many infantry/tanks/mobile artillery as I could and just go tear-assing around the map. When people started playing Wasteland and dayz it kind of ruined Arma 3, but that was back when I don't know if those are still populating the server list.

Bruh, have you even watched videos from the Syrian Civil war. This is exactly what they would do. RPGs are notoriously inaccurate and laying down masses of fire is what they do when it misses.

I think the improvements in Micro-drones will change the battlefields forever. If you can spot your enemy first, especially its big asset items. Cancelling their ability to put up an offense is the winning play. Speed in removing opposition its critical. So those drone surveillance data collection can change the battlefield in minutes. Exposing your army is waste and the critical importance of not exposing your military units. Smart destruction and make the opposing side confused. Destroy Command & Control of the opposition and you can over run a territory quickly.

Before the Islamic Revolution, Iran was a western ally and big importer of western weaponry (exactly like what Saudi Arabia is like now). These and more (like F4 jets) are remnants of its then king's paranoid modernisation (which is quite ironic, if you ask me🙄)

I do a lot of scripting myself and ive always wanted to know how u get the soldiers to sit on top of the APC.my scripting is no were as advanced as this but i still have a lot of fun.

My congratulations. You have presented two major considerations very well indeed. Firstly, how even a minor incident, even an accident, can trigger a major conflict. Secondly, the absolute chaos and confusion when contact is first made with the opposition; people are flat out manoeuvring heavy weapons and armour for both fire support (the opposition actually being sighted) and anti-armour combat. Theorists may be very clear as to unmounted infantry should proceed but in reality finding cover that enables one to engage enemy personnel and a scramble moving around to avoid and confuse is pri one. The involvement of Iranian attack heloes was a nice touch and the outcome probably fairly accurate given the AAA present. The only point I would query. Nice with the drone attacking and gaining direct line intel, but I doubt any IDF units would deploy in an attack without on-top air cover and possibly stand off interceptors as well.

The Iranian airforce is vastly inferior in technology and numbers. Their tanks are also trash and mostly copies of older Soviet equipment. The Iranian military in real life would either need a coalition or to defeat Israel through attrition.

@@leitis820 I dont disagree that He is a puppet. However the uprising in Belarus are cleary financed by Poland and the baltics, which are by the way also not sovereign countries. So it's the west supporting uprising in Belarus and not vice versa. Hence, I think clearly Belarus is not the aggressor in this case. However, I am not saying that it is wrong to intervene with belarussian politics, I am just stating the fact that it's our involvement that causes a reaction.

Well trained, professional infantry do not stand or kneel on the skyline. There is no way the Israeli lads would have carried out this suicidal manoeuvre. It is one of the first things taught during infantry combat classes in every army, I would imagine - certainly in the British Army.

Irans not bad actually not bad They use 1980s USMC trading programs And in the 2000s they are mixing it with Guerrilla warfare and Russian Spetznaz My dad was in the 55th airborne Shiraz His SSGT ( sar goorohan) I think Said that they were all trained with the same mentality and physical training of a ‘wild marine’ (Takavareh vahshe) 😂 And Israel is currently being trained by US So both are not bad
