My God, I think I'm becoming an Ariel fan. This is my third episode. Now I'm looking forward to Monday. I was so angry after the Volk interview after his first Islam fight. Volk, a fighter I deeply respected and admired,. After seeing him talk with Ariel, I felt like Ariel baited him into saying he was still P4P#1 effectively turning what I thought was the toughest man on the planet into a guy that would renege on a bet. Ok just because you don’t have a fight doesn’t mean he isn’t in a full training camp. Say you break your leg as a martial artist and your sidelined for a year your going to go and do a full camp just to get back to where he was physically before the almost career ending leg injury. He has no idea what his limitations are he is going to be reinventing he entire style and having to get it to the level of the top of the UFC. Now it will all depend on if its just money or is he really expecting to go all out and do a final run for the belt. Plus he has the Dana and UFC putting out a date and then changing the dates and putting him on ice since way before the leg injury so if he expects to keep his spot he has to be ready at a drop of a hat if they spring a replacement spot for the title or a big huge super fight with Chandler. He is in a very tight spot with the injury and his age and the layoff not to mention the fact he is coming back in a two fight losing streak.

It seems like for Sage the One165 event in Japan was just a matter between him and God and the holy spirits. I do think they do both DDP/izzy AND Leon/Belal, that would be four 5 round fights on the main card. That’d be too long.

Obviously the ufc and conor dont want chandler to be conors next opponent. If they did, they already wpuldve announced them at 300. Im betting they are stringing him along, hoping he takes the hint and moves on. There is only one fight that conor would really get up for and that is the nate trilogy. Anf the ufc knows it has to happen and after his last injury, i dont think they wanna risk conor fighting someone else. People can say what they want, but the trilogy has to happen asap.
