Paddy is the last person to start going off about Ariel. Ariel has shown Paddy nothing but respect for years before he even entered the UFC. When he first came 4/5 years ago, when he wasn’t really known, Ariel was very kind to him and wanted to talk to him, regardless of his stature and was very clear in his admiration for him. To backstab the man who has treated you with dignity and respect and even took a chance by wanting you on the show when no-one knew who you were is outrageous. Paddy needs to be taken down a few notches and realise just because your boss is in front of you, it doesn’t mean you start chatting utter crap and spewing nasty crap at someone who has done nothing bad to you.

For me, Ariel is the first journalist that comes to mind when I think of MMA journalism. He's an OG and has endured the turbulence throughout. The interviews with Rampage back in the day ate up hours of my life and I'll still gladly feed them today. Huge respect for you Ariel.

I think the big confusion coming from (besides getting hit in the head) that in mma as a journalist, you need to have a podcast or a youtube show to be somewhat relevant. And many fighters starting podcasts as well, which is fine, but that doesn’t make Brendan Schwab or Paddy a journalist.

I do think he should put his foot down, though. I get that it’s a dream to work with these huge sports outlets to cover the sport, but he doesn’t need to associate himself with ANY of these big corps. He’s earned enough of a following and respect from fans over the years, so much so that he could and SHOULD become independent. Get out of these contracts that bar you from covering the sport with honesty, he’d be much more successful financially and I don’t think ANYONE should have a problem with it. Being covered and interviewed by Ariel should be a privilege, not something that fighters complain about because “erghh you make mOnEy off iNtErVieWs!!”. He SHOULD be making money, and plenty of it.

I've been an MMA fan since 2003. Ariel is an OG. I'm more a fan of Ariel than most actual fighters. Guy can't be bought and speaks the truth. Recent events have really looked bad for paddy.... Ariel : You're the number 1 in this game, never stop going. Loyal MMA fans appreciate you and will follow you anywhere, whatever show you may be on.

I have watched you on KZread for years and some of your interviews are way more than just about fighting. I’m newer to the mma and Ariel what are some of the bad things?

The fact Ariel is still around after Dana has publicly shamed and black balled him, shows that he's a genuine dude and MOST ppl can see that. I liked Paddy at first, and I still think he's just a young kid who probably has alot of leeches around(his manager) , but he needs to be humbled. He's too full of himself lately.

The thing is, Paddy isn't a young kid. He's pushing 30 despite looking like a 23 or 24 year old. This is just straight who he is. A company man that will throw integrity out the window in order to get into his boss' good graces. Go figure.

So MUCH MORE POWER to you and to the TRUTH in all situations, Ariel. You're an authentic person, and a strong warrior, and therefore an inspiration.

This just goes to show how respectful this man is. He doesn’t want to roost someone, he doesn’t want negativity or BS. But he spoke his truth. His truth was necessary to prove their claims incorrect. Man, Ariel is a goat, so well spoken.

Nah. Ariel has a snakey little way about how he does things. Dana makes money off fighters….he also built the platform for them To succeed lol while Ariel just leeches from it all. Dana has a right to make money lol that’s what happens when you build a business

I remembered when you interviewed Li Jingliang and Yan Xiaonan. It was a very great conversation. You gave them a great stage to speak for themselves.

The reason why I like Ariel is because you can tell he truly cares about the fighters. Other people can sense this as well.

Ariel has made Paddy look so bad exposing him here and I like Paddy. Fair play Ariel for standing up for yourself

This is a masterclass. I've never been so disappointed in someone before. Some MMA fighters have done much worse than Paddy lying about you, but it's just more disappointing because he seemed like such a stand up guy. Really hope he let's go of his ego and apologizes someday

It's hilariously bad for Paddy the Saddy complaining journalists make a living from reporting (well duh.....) on MMA fighters to Dana BloodMoney White who has made a very lucrative life of MMA fighters. Even Paddy was underpaid by the guy he's saying this too. Even though Paddy can be a bit of a tool, I kind of liked some of what he does and has to say but now I'm all out. I think a lot of others will be too going from the comments about this. It's his own fault so I don't feel bad for the guy. Imagine having that conversation with bloodmoney White hahahaha, sucking up major to his boss that makes a lot more money than Paddy with every fight he has that takes minutes off from his life.

I've always casually enjoyed watching Ariel's content. After watching the first 15 min of this video I'll absolutely be supporting Ariel in any capacity in the future, I never realised all the fund raising he'd done previously and it really showed a different side I wasn't aware of.
