These three singers are some of my very favorite vocalists of all time. Personally, I can't go a day without listening to Mariah, and Morissette's performances give me chills, but if it weren't for Ariana Grande I probably wouldn't have the musical interest I have. Her singles sound quite the same because of her current spot in the pop industry. If you really dug into her music you would notice "ghostin" and "rem" and "blazed" aren't the same at all. Matter of fact she hasn't even hit her prime yet, she will improve a lot vocally in the future

There is something about Ariana’s tone that is just so damn addictive. It’s so girly yet hard and silky smooth. Honestly my fav female tone of all time. Mariah is just impeccable. Like truly the queen.

Mariah is such an outstanding vocalist. So is Ariana and Morisette. I'm definitely proud that they both have admitted to getting some inspiration from Mariah as a songwriter, vocalist, singer, etc. ❤❤🥰🥰

The interests of her people in different type of genre especially kpop. Being able to be recognized here in her country is already an incredible feat. To other two, they came from a long way!!! @@morified9290 sometimes, technical skills are not enough. Mori may have that voice (as well as a lot of contestants, we have a lot of that in the Philippines and you know it. but she really needs to find her own sound and stop covering songs. Ariana on the other hand, is copying mariah early on her career but glad that she started to find her own sound. That's why when I listen "Ariana" music, I can always associate that song with Ariana (not mariah or anyone), unlike Mori, all are covers (w/ the exception of some songs) and it's getting annoying now because a lot of Filipinos are good in covers/singing other songs what we lack are creativity and originality, not hating, just looking at a different perspective. Well, her covers are also Mariah version, so I was like 'gurl don't you have your own version?'. I know that you're a big ass mariah fah but don't make a career out of being just a cover artist... try to write song or at least find your own sound...

And by the way it’s not her fault if she sometimes sound mariah because their belting has really have resemblance. Don’t force other artist to change themselves or of what they really are. She mention she’s not really not good of writing songs but she’s trying it now. Another thing is song writers here in PH are just mediocre compare to holywood. That’s why OPM is having hard time to penetrate the international. She’s not the only one who only cover songs. Almost every singers in PH has no album and original song too. Fyi she will release an album before the year ends. So stop being negative and just appreciate her!

Actually none of them aren’t screaming at all. They are all belting and mixing. Its just Mariah has a more chestier tone than Mori and Ariana. Ariana has a more lighter tone and Mori has a more of a dark but yet sort of a balanced tone. There is a difference in Placement and Tone as well as Technique between these 3

What I love about these three is the fact that they can hit those high notes with just pleasant sound. There are some singers where you hear them belt powerful high notes but they sounded like a dying or a choking cat. Mariah - her voice is like a goddess. Her songs like Can't Take That Away, There For Me and a lot more, once saved me from my depression way back five years ago. Ariana - I like her very calm and tender tone yet so powerful. It's just so sweet. Morissette - Her voice is powerful and very versatile to all genres I think. I heard her sing Jazz, Pop, Upbeat, Powerful Ballad, Rock, Musical Theatre and a lot more. I love them three ❤️

Ari's - grounded upper belts ease phrasing and head voice Mariah- Whistles lows intentional breaks ring in upper belts transitions and riffs and runs Mori- ring in mid belts breath support and vibrato.

@@Lucas-fp8br Dont be fooled. If you listen carefully and do some research you'll soon realise that Ari uses Head Voice most of the time. Even the notes in this video are ALL head voice including Ari's. Falsetto is more breathy and less full(I'm sure u already knew that lol) But in the 5th and 6th octave Ari keeps a nice full connected and grounded sound. You should check out GrandeFlamesButera. There's ALOT of debunking when it comes to her technique. You should subscribe.

@@knightking7077 whistle register by itself is the hardest to control technically, i can count by my hands out of all 7billion people who had shown great control through out world. But doing it while mouth closed or to pronounced words is a feat that has great mastery of whistle register. The sharpness of sounds does require proper tuning. Morisette is really exceptional!

Lows: Mariah Mids: They were all equally good, but I personally choose Mariah Highs: Mariah because she has the most support/better technique out of all the three. She can support up to a G5, and let's not forget about her astonishing resonance on top of that. Head Voice: Mariah uses falsetto, so Ari or Mori? Whistles: Mariah, but I love Morisette's whistles too.

Mori should always do it live because she’s doing lesser shows(given she’s a local) compared to Ariana and Mariah both international. So Mori has a lot of time to rest her voice while Mariah and Ariana are doing shows worldwide , writing, recording and producing songs at the same time so there’s not much time to rest.

@@Shhhhhh1281 well, you do have a point but the thing here is that Morissette is also busy. Her gigs aren't just as big as Ari's nor Mimi's. Her voice actually changed because she overused it during her tours. She was so brave that she sings most of her songs in the original key or even higher and yes, she always do it live. I'm not saying that lipping is bad. It's forgivable if they are under the weather.

I love Mori because even though she had surgery on her throat when she was 12 years old, she still has a beautiful voice. How much more if she didn't get sick and had surgery before?😉

Ariana stopped doing that when Mariah’s fan unjustifiably started going after her, but it’s obvious that she was heavily influenced and inspired by Mariah. Ariana has obviously developed her own unique style with her solo career, but her early days were pretty much replicating Mariah.

Ariana's G4 was so pretty omg

Mariah Strengths and Weaknesses Mariah Carey has a beautiful vocal texture and is a very agile and creative vocalise. She uses a lots of core in her belt and sacrifices ease for power. She is quite inconsistent in her belt. And struggles with sustained notes above D5 but still capable of a massive Resonance in her upper belts. Her low notes are very grounded above E3. And below they tend to be airy but she can bring them insanely low. Her headvoice is definitely not bad. And her whistle are clearly well developed Morissette Strengths and Weaknesses Morissette Amon has a great Sense of emotional portrayal and has mastered vocal break and growl. Her tone is the highlight to her voice. And her belt are controlled and full of rings. She often sustain with to much. Which leads to her belt being tense. Her headvoice is well developed,and her whistle are getting there. Her low notes are warm and full until G3 then become quit airy. She has a great breath management and is the best sustaining of the three, through her agility,while difinitely not bad, is likely the worst. Ariana Strengths and Weaknesses Ariana grande has one of the Best ease's throughout her range.From her lowest to her highest, there is hardly any tension. The only negative to that is that her low notes can lack fullness because adding that extra grounding required more effort than using more air. Her belt are incredible and she's one of the best upper belters in pop. But her consistency in her ring isn't quite as high as the others. Her headvoice can be airy at times,but though it isn't as full as people think it needs to be. She has stronger high head notes than most pop sopranos. By Camden😍😘

Mariah’s is impressive and obvi unmatched. Mori’s voice is good and the resonance is just AMAZING. Ari’s tone/technique i guess is just smooth which is why I think her fame grows a lot since not many do it like she does that and she was an actress before.

Morissette and Mariah's belts are more chestier in Mid Belts than Ariana. Morissette's chesty mix can reach a G5 while Mariah can reach to G5 hut when she got older it sticks to E5. Ariana's tone in her upper range is superb. Can sustain a B5 like what?? Low notes, mariah wins, morissette and ariana struggles in low notes. On head voice, well I love them all. Tie. In whistle of course mariah, I'm a fan of Morisstte but I have no doubt that Mariah has the greatest whislte, so soft and airy that makes it pleasant to ear. Morissette is just next to Mariah then ariana. Love them all

Morissette has some lovely notes and tone but it doesn’t sound unique to me, just polished. She sounds like if a computer generated the smoothest voice possible within a certain range combining Whitney & Mariah. I think that’s why Mariah is my favorite. Her voice is incredible but it has a slight imperfection that is addicting because you just don’t know what’s next. Her TONE is absolutely one of a kind, not replicable. Morissette also looks like she’s pushing whereas it looks effortless for Mariah. I don’t think Mariah ever fully played with all of the different components of her voice/instrument like Morissette. Morissette has focused on proving her vocal ability & that she can do every genre under the sun because she came after the vocal trinity. In her time, that wasn’t Mariah’s goal. She was truly a creative musical genius who needed to write music to express herself. Her goal wasn’t to do it all; she didn’t need to try out every single genre. She had a unique and clear musical footprint that was true to her and her identity. I do believe if we had prime Mariah actually trying to do as much with her vocal instrument as possible, she’d be unreachable by anyone for eternity.

These 3 women are all great singers. Im just so proud of Morissette to be included in this video analysis. We are entitled to our own preferences, for me its Morissette as Mori can sing and slay any genres, ballads. Pop, R&B, broadway,Rock (you should check her singing Dream on by Steven Tyler of Aerosmith in the original note of the very high note of that song), funk (check her Bruno Mars medley) and shes also a spitfire as her rapping skills are amazing. I know MC is one of the musical influences of Morissette and Im sure shes also AG musical influence. Great video looking forward for more.
