they did use to over compensate with the compliments when it came to Loni and I could imagine it was annoying. She makes a joke about looking big next to Adrienne and Jeannie instantly went into "Loni, you're so beautiful." Okay but when did she say she wasn't? She joked about her size and they start throwing compliments as if she was questioning her looks. That is so aggravating, it's not from a bad place but it's irritating. It's like ppl think telling someone they lost weight is a compliment.

I can agree to it being irritating and how you’d look at it sideways. But in this particular moment she said she had thick skin and that they weren’t hurting her feelings, so I believe Jeannie was like “but Loni you’re beautiful” as in “why would they hurt your feelings when you’re pretty?” As for the losing weight thing, it all depends on the person. I used to be so chubby back in middle school up to like 11th grade. But the summer of my senior year I got “in shape” (putting that in quotes cause I just lost a bunch of weight in a bad manner) and when people told me I lost weight I took it as a compliment because I associated losing weight with acceptance and just overall good looks. makes sense?

All they had to say was, "Loni there is nothing wrong with your weight at all so stop downing yourself, you are still beautiful." They could say it like that.
