This picture was just an absolute masterpiece and incredible achievement in filmmaking. One if the best movies EVER made. Not a single flaw or glitch you think you’d rewrite/design with hindsight. Simply a brilliantly told story & beautiful piece of art

I am Canadian and I felt a lot of pride after watching Argo. I am glad we helped our American friends out of Iran

The CIA wouldn't even answer a basic question for me about aliens, but they've opened up a section, so I'm not as offended. And that's for never helping me when I was in distress and not helping any of us. Meanwhile, I get to become a paranoid schizophrenic as punishment. I don't know how much I've survived.

Someone needs to go back to take grade 10 history. Yes Can was all over this movie, but from someone that understand Canada's true role in what happen in 79 it's not what this movie portrayal's. This movie will be used to teach history and when it dose Can will be washed over as just the people that held the 6 US. It was Ken Tayor that put his neck on the line. I knen one of the Can forces officers that was there and Canada had more at stake and did more then this movie could ever show.

Canadian Gov't, the RCMP, Cndn embassy staff. that's who did the most. When Mendez was given this Exfil task, the first thing he did was hop on a plane to Ottawa to work out the details with the RCMP. AND, maybe Canada got the "credit" but we also got ALL the "blame",too, which included vows of revenge and threats of terrorist attack by Iran.

David Colley they didn’t, both the British and New Zealand embassies took in the 6 at great risk, they were moved about for safety, they ended up split between 2 ambassadors houses. It was a joint effort. It’s just dramatic license for the movie.

Not true. The British involvement was written out of the film as it didn't suit the narrative. A bit like U-521 and all the other films where others are written out of history.

shame on Ben Aflek for bring out a movie like this at this time, when the US if warmongering and Iran is trying to avoid war. this film only does damage, he could have done this film when things had simmered down. but i guess the rich never care! money comes first!!
