same man - and after finally beating the game this year (since i didn't give up halfway this time), i've noticed in star allies they RECREATED THE CANDY CONSTELLATION LEVEL FOR SOME OF DMK'S RUN ..!! it's so nostalgic teehee .. hal really is targeting me

when I was younger I would always end up getting lost in the same doors and doing the levels repeatedly because I couldn’t find another door/glass piece Let’s just say it was very confusing for me and I never got to finish it

A track so amazing (even by K&tAM standards) I would use it as 8-6 music in A Hundred Levels of Pure Hell

The theme that plays when you realize people archive the extended videos or make their own.

A thought just stuck me. This area is the mirror world’s equivalent to Final Destination from the Super Smash Bros. Series. considering both take place in outer space and both have a mechanical theming to them like FD’s older variants. Additionally, Constellation rhymes with Destination. It’s also the last world in the game. In other words, Candy Constellation is the “Final Destination” of the game. It’s no wonder why you fight Master Hand and Crazy Hand here. The whole area is a reference to Smash Bros.

I love how when you get closer to Master Hand and Crazy Hand the level gets more intense and that one part where you see the Haileys (which look like Sonic the Hedgehog but just a head) swimming in floating water blobs in space. I thought I was tripping. It's the little things u guys! I love the Kirby series...

Disagree tbh, but I'll certainly say that Kirby deceptively has one of the most darkest and saddest lores in videogame history.

Takes me back to being 9/10 years old and just endearing this game to death. The music echoes in my head to this day and just as many other great music from great games do takes me back to these amazing times where I genuinely enjoyed games. These past 2 generations have had fair shares of disappointments and luckily even with sighs of relief every so often it's just not the same anymore what with companies not putting heart into their games or being out to make them enjoyable as they have in the past.

there are still plenty of good videos games, especially indie ones, i think its just nostalgia thats at least in part, making you feel like games back then were a lot better, although i would agree that many AAA games are indeed trash cash grabs

Head Canon: Crazy Hand is Master Hand’s mirror counterpart and Candy Constellation is Mirror World Final destination

This brings back memories of me casually trying to progress in the game when suddenly out of nowhere a freaking enemy attacks me and I ended up losing health.

I prefer Squeak Squad’s version, but the original is great!

It would make an outstanding add to the current switch library of games considering all the new areas & bosses they could add, not to mention thw developers also have the option to add tracks trophies stickers and more rewards to put on the zones

They'd also be able to add Online/Local multiplayer, which would probably make this my favorite game period. The option to add fleshed out movesets is good, too.

It's still my ultimate dream to see this game remade and put on a Nintendo home console with local and online multi-player. I'm amazed it still hasn't happened yet but now would definitely be the prime moment of all moments to do it.........which likely means this idea will never see the light of day knowing Nintendo.

Pure liquid nostalgia from the best Kirby game of all time and one of my favorite games in general

No joke, this game got me into Metroidvanias. Great introduction to them, and a great game overall too. The music, like this one, being fantastic obviously helps!

This... Track... Nostalgic as fuck, to the point where I actually cried 😭

I loved this game the most of all the games in one weird stuffed cartridge, because it was unlike any of them. I could travel freely through the world and as if I really go between levels and feel the space and the width of the map

This song blew my little 14 year old mind the first time I heard it.

The first 5 Seconds sound like Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire, then the rest of the song gives Sonic Advance vibes

This definitely had an air of "epic space adventure" at the beginning.

Remember: Amazing Mirror confirms that Super Smash Bros. is canonically a Kirby Spin-off!

I got to this place on purpose at moonlight mansion because I wanted to see what area 9 was like, and then after I had explored the entire area I went to area 7 and accidentally came back here. I was really disappointed because I had already done everything there

You can play on emulators, MyBoy for mobile and VBA on PC. But nothing beats the GBA Experience.
