It could qualify as "creative input and commentary" and not just a reupload of a music! The big thing I wish Nintendo realizes when it comes to Masked DDD’s epicness is that it’s not just a Super Sayain style upgrade, it’s an entire story in itself. Everything from the background of the original fight to the music’s slow start tells you DDD ain’t messing around anymore.

Dedede is one of my favourite Nintendo characters and just characters in general. At a glance, one might assume he’s no different to the likes of Bowser, just an evil tyrant with no concern for anything other than serving their own self interest and oppressing others. But unlike Bowser or many other Nintendo villains, it’s hard to call Dedede evil per se. He’s certainly not heroic, he’s still selfish, greedy and self serving a lot of the time, but he’s not a tyrant, he just loves food a bit too much and has a (clearly personal) vendetta against Kirby because he always gets the best of him, made even worse by Kirby’s innocence and obliviousness. What’s great about this theme is it feels like a distorted version of his own theme music, with soft intervals that could portray him trying to break free of the mind control only to be overpowered once more. He might not be the hero of the lower world but that does not mean he has no concern over what happens to it and his people.

Well said, I can easily say king dedede is my favorite Nintendo villain (other than bowser). But I just want to add the fact that Bowser isn’t entirely evil. He helps Mario or gets help from Mario sometimes to defeat a greater enemy like king Dedede. A truly evil villain is someone like Ganon. Bowser and king Dedede aren’t the most evil of villains. But king Dedede is less evil than Bowser. Characters like Marx in star allies, only help Kirby for there own personal gain, in Marx’s case to defeat a threat to him. King Dedede helped Kirby after being saved by him, to defeat a threat to his kingdom and save dreamland. But I just wanted to say I entires agree with your point.

@@muffinations9273 To be fair, Bowser is like that too. He only helps the Bros if he really needs too. For example in the Mario and Luigi games, he helps them because something is a threat (SS: Peach's voice, PiT: Shroobs attacking, and that was Baby Bowser, BIS: It all started because his Goombas were blorbed according to the remake, and then he had no idea he was helping Mario). Other times like Origami King are the same: Either a threat to him and his minions, or a threat to Peach. As for the Mario Party, Kart, and Sports games, I consider them non canon.

I can’t say for sure, but I feel as though I overlooked this song, and I think it might just be the best one in all of Kirby. I loved it when I head it in Triple Deluxe and it felt perfect after the long journey, but I don’t think I thought of it as my favorite. I might be wildly. forgetting something, and I can’t say for sure, but I think this is my favorite Kirby song ever just out of sheer good sounds.

For me it's the first time I was introduced to Masked Dedede before I saw the YTPMVs lol. I know this game's about to get serious when the theme song played.

You know a game is great when a character goes into the background and grabs a random object and makes it look scaringly threatening while awesome at the same time

As a Kirby main, who puts this on in my headphones, I can comfirm, Meta Knight’s Revenge (Brawl), Masked Dedede, and Gourmet Race (Brawl) incredibly increases my Brain power and reading by 75%

Ah my first "true" Kirby game. Sure, Epic Yarn got me started on the series but Triple Deluxe is what cemented it as one of my favorite series of all time.
