Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

I am very glad that I found Charles spurgeon he is one of the best preachers out there and we just want to thank God for him I've been listening to him for about 3 years now maybe four and now I'm collecting his books he is a blessing I know he's watching me from heaven too he's one person I can't wait to meet in heaven the new heaven on Earth God's will be done in Jesus name amen
Lord give me grace to prioritize my life
I've been prepared to die since I was 8 yrs old(1965). It was then that I became born again and now have the confidence and certainty of everlasting life. I was baptized under the water 2 yrs later. I can stand with my Savior in the tides of turmoil and stress, knowing that since He has overcome all temptations and testings, then I, too, can stand, with Him, knowing that I have overcome.

What a wonderful, powerful sermon from Charles Spurgeon. I'm so glad he left his sermons for all of us to hear. Thanks so much for sharing it with us all!
Jesus Christ is the same in all time!
I've almost died by choking and drowning 4 times in my life. I'm a hospice nurse and see people die so, I'm well acquainted with death. None of these experiences have prepared me to die. But knowing Jesus Christ makes me look forward to my death when he decides it's my time. Because I know my when my eyes close in death, l'll wake up in the next moment in heaven with my Lord. And one day the Lord will redeem and glorify my body to be like his own!
Wow!!!! This message causes a sobering of the heart & mind; is my life set on ready & am I doing what God has enlisted me to do? Iron sharpen iron ❤to God be the Glory through Christ Jesus!!!!

I pray the Lord will be with me in the hour of my death. To Him is the Glory!
I met Charles Spurgeon about 40 years ago. Funny, but I didn't know, at the time, that he is considered the "Prince of Preachers". Many proclaim that he was the greatest Gospel preacher since the Apostle Paul. I totally agree. I was a tangled mess when I encountered this GREAT man. Thank God, that through the medium of the internet, he has brought forth his faithful servant to bless our needy generation.

Humility and lowliness One can claim saved all the do da day , but surrender and sanctify "where the least may receive the most ' by our Lord's grace and mercy 😇
I am always amazed at how relevant these sermons that were preached 150 years ago are so relevant to 2022. I listen to these messages every day and am so uplifted and blessed by them.

My great grandmother went singing hymns while she fell asleep. She was the most beautiful person in my eyes. Old, soft and gentle whose reputation was not always so. Loving thru and thru to God 1st and was spread like peanut butter to the generation's after her passing to my grand children for Jesus sake 1st and mine for those who lived before me. What could be better than that? Many will find things other than purity from our Lord...those are the ones who can testify the best. We need more conversions quickly because death is in fear or God and is moving quick to catch up its loss due to foolishness. God must laugh when he see how things be stirred up here from a drop of what he could do but with patient love does not.

I , long ago had a vivid dream of what I now believe was the river Jordan , rushing dark and fast with it's steep banks and high wind pulling me down and I suddenly awoke . I did not know what it was all about at the time but now I do. I have been a believer in my Lord and blessed savior Jesus Christ for years now and this is my most favorite sermon by such an epic preacher as Charles Spurgeon. Thank you very much for posting this as I keep it saved to share with others where ever possible. May God bless all who read this and listen to his sermons. Amen.

Great to prepare the day of death! Thanks for Charles Spurgeon going through his thoughts with us and well preparing us to the day of death! He suggested us by washing away our sins via the blood of Jesus Christ is the most important first step, and prepare daily as it is the day of death to come without excessive astonishment to yourselves, submit yourselves to do all the good and will of God and lastly, looking forwards to your rewards in heaven ahead of you, you are going HOME on that day!🙏😊 Praise to Lord our God to leave this message to HIS believers and non-believers…To prepare the death as it must comes unless the RAPTURE comes first! Please COME, Please Come, LORD!✨🤩

Exactly right. He didn't say "trust Jesus and you will NEVER suffer again." Are you a Christian or a non-believer?

I am sorry, but this is clear pre-tribulation rapture talk. Do not tell me that he is waiting joyfully, hoping for the tribulation. He obviously understands that he would not be preparing to happily deliver a sermon in the midst of the Day of Wrath. He is a clear believer in the pre-trib rapture. It must be you who are a believer in post-trib redemption. Well, that is fine by me if you want to wait for the blessed hope of the time of Jacob's Trouble, but Spurgeon obviously got it.
