Great guest Luke. Robert Gee seems like a young guy that is what is right about the future of BASS & FFS....time will tell, but I root for him to do well.

Learning about Robert and John Garrett being VFLs is great! Love being able to zero in on some more anglers to cheer for! I also played a club sport at UT (soccer), so I know exactly what Robert is talking about. You gotta be able to pull yourself up by your own bootstraps. Go Vols!

Ur spot on on the networking! I'm in my upper 30s and have stayed with multiple guys traveling regionally and for some reason our age group is soo competitive they lie instead of every1 putting their heads together and figuring it out! I don't understand the thought process of that.

Just opinion.. 9 out of 10 tournaments won now by scopers who don’t even cast unless they see fish. If we are to judge a body of all pros today on who can win then everyone would be judged by who scope fishes best. “Fishing” skills to find fish based on patterns and just blue dots collecting is not the same skill set Luke. It’s like we grew and had passion to find fish as the passion of our hobby and now a box does it for u so why would a common man who can have FFS spend a Saturday NOT wanting to be a scoper with FFS….Right ? It’s really a shakeup. My club folded this year over it.

They might be but who knows? As long as the major venues continue to let them use a spot light to find and catch bass they will always be labeled as video game fisherman , that can’t catch a cold without it . Not really there fault but they haven’t done anything to change most peoples minds , take it off your boat and put your money where your mouth is
