I had the crappie slayer in a duckett it was a POS it broke after 5 months it was a nice rod it didnt hold up though

Can't wait for the Watson episode! Great convo with KP too! I've never used Livescope but is there a reason why the old school guys (who are also very well versed in every other aspect of their electronic capabilities) can't seem to figure out how to merge this technology with all of their existing knowledge? It feels like someone with the decades of experience would be able to utilize LS to work their pattern even faster by eliminating spots on their pattern with only smaller fish or fish that can't help their limit. all the excuses being made, whether on stage or on YT, saying that the young guys don't know how to fish really just screams like a guy yelling at you to stop fishing at his dock 😂

Anyone that fishes MLF wasn’t thinking when they chose to go there when the OWNER is a competitor is nuts to me!!!!! I like DC, MDJ, and some others but they might better think about doing something else because I won’t support anything associated with MLF. Watson helped MLF more than MLF helped Watson and that’s a fact!! If you think the decision to suspend Watson couldn’t have been thought thru it was done off emotions and if Boyd is that arrogant to think this isn’t going to hurt his business he’s dumber than I thought, this may just be the final nail in the coffin, it was for me for sure and I don’t even know Watson personally but he’s a likable guy that you can tell genuinely wants the best for the anglers and I support that!!! Just ordered 5 damn FBD hats and will be buying stuff from southern boating supply as well just to show my support for the guys that are like minded! Keep doing what you’re doing Luke

DC and Wheeler are part of the problem. Or rather Boyd catering to them is. Their polygraph guy sat through like 5 hours of deception with them and MLF didn’t do anything about it. They were the cheaters of all cheaters in season 1.

95% of them only went because they were promised no entry fees, that's it only reason. There are not very many people who would turn down a 55k raise a year. They were set up to fail.

I was a Drill Sergeant like Watson and it was the best two years of my 21 year career. I've been following Kyle Patrick since I met him at Cherokee when he was going through the Opens. He's a genuinely good guy. FFS: I think, like some of the other pro's, it should be limited to one unit just to level the playing field and make it the same. Not everyone cam afford 50K for units.

Another great show! if you look back, there is a reason why over the last few years, the other tournament trails have grown and anglers started coming back to bass. you can definitely tell MLF is not growing at the pro level by just looking at the rookie class and new anglers coming in. It’s been mostly the same ones for years. The major difference between Boyd Duckett and James Watson, James Watson is not putting himself first, and has the best interest of all anglers to better the sport. Who else would put their career on the line ! The other guy, is just a numbers game with $ signs. In my opinion with the FFS, I think they should limit the use per tournament. I think they should limit the days per tournament and let the anglers choose which two days they want to use it. It could be back to back days or they could split them up. I think that would throw a good mix and strategy into the tournament. PS. Wishing you blessed success on your new business journeys! And if you need a new rep in the Kentucky area, feel free to contact me lol ! And the only perks I want is some jigs and honey buns from that LOB !😂

Looking for a venue next year check out the chop shop in Roanoke just outside of Ft.Worth. I think Randy Rogers is part owner but it has a big bar and a big outdoor covered stage. It’s located between downtown Ft.Worth and Texas motor Speedway. You might ask one of your buddies from Turnpike Troubadours about the place they were here a while back.#FBD

You talk about mapping being more dangerous and how side imaging & 360 are just as dangerous as FFS. No one ever talks about being able to see a fish and see how it reacts to a bait. That seems to be the true game changer. When you know it is in the fish's face ever cast, the catch percentage goes up. The other technology does not do that. Just my two cents. I also agree scary to ban something. But they didn't have an issue with the A-rig. P.S. #FBD #FreeBiscuitsDad

Holy shit I figured it out... Barstool needs to buy a tour or start a pg-13 bass tour. Get the barstool guys gambling on it and talking about it on their podcasts. Maybe I'm the only who wishes fishing wasn't always geared to the kids. I bet the weigh ins would be wild. Make it an invite only deal where they only invite anglers with some character and excitement. Every angler gets paid good and the world is entertained.

The pro ams could be great. The barstool guys could pull some legit sports/pop culture people to draw non endemic sponsors and take some pressure off the fishing companies from having to sponsor every single fishing event ever. I love watching the old flw shows and seeing Castrol and Walmart and all them. The same 6 fishing industry company commercials during the classic get old real quick especially for people who watch a lot of live fishing. 20-40 of the legit fun character guys all in 19ft 200hp boats. One graph on the deck and one on the console provided for the anglers. If they want to use ffs that's fine but they only have one 10" graph. No practice and fishing lesser known spots.

Watching and waiting for you to bring up the BASS DQ of New. I’ve watched you for years now. You always are quick to point out MLF problems but not so much on the issues in BASS. I am a huge fan of BASS and MLF both. I watch and support both, get both magazines, etc. I just don’t understand folks that have been pulling for one over the other. This channel has been against MLF for a long time. If you get your wish and MLF fails, what then? When MLF started, immediately 80 more fishermen got to live their dream of fishing professionally. I agree MLF has issues but so does BASS. That’s why the mass exodus from BASS happened a few years back. Just call it out on both organizations and you might get a little more respect from folks like myself.
