Glad you mentioned the theft scenario at Sam Rayburn. Great shout out to Texas law enforcement. Anyone who steals and sells and knowingly buys this stuff needs their fishing privileges removed for ten years or life

Im from a small town in EKY and the same kind of stuff happened with divorces. I had a great friend who got totally ran through the mill. He had a liscense plate on the front of his truck for years that said “Burnt”.

Concerning the bass Chris saw on bed & then pointed out to Cory to catch, these are the facts as evidenced on live video presented without comment. When he boated the fish, he concealed the hook. He then turned 180° away and down from the camera to remove the hook.

I hate a damn thief as well as liars and shifty folks. Not the Ol devil horse, in my opinion best summer time river top water bait following the frog.That's a lot of gear 100 grand worth wooow. Great podcast as always Luke, preciate it. 👊 Be Safe & Tight Lines 💪

im so used to listening to all podcast on 1.25 speed, never knew Biloxi Blues was such a slow melody. try listening on 1.25 and it sounds great, like it was made that way

ive snagged bass on a jerk bait a few times but never on intentionally. went to twitch the bait close to the boat just as the bass went to strike the lure. i don't have livescope or any of the ffs. not because im against it. its just not in my budget at this time.

Lucky to be in Indiana I guess. No alimony and child support is done via worksheet based on income. Sill excessive in my opinion, but at least manageable. Glad you got through it!

I think he may have snagged the fish. Not intentionally but I know a lot of guys that bed fish without visually seeing the bass at that moment.We all still throw them back if not hooked in the mouth.If someone wins a abt fishing 30ft off bedding bass and hooks one outside the mouth.No way there winning or passing poly. Perspective mode or marking a bed and fishing where you can't see the fish is the same.You still know where that fish is well enough to snag.Just my opinion and you know what they say about those 😂

20:25 Facebook marketplace mega deals is exactly what happened there. That stuff got snatch & grabbed and put right up on the ol Facebook marketplace and sold same day. Wouldn’t surprise me if it were done using fake accounts that got deleted as soon as the stuff sold. Which, if the guys in the department do a half decent job at tracking it down that far, those boys who stole and sold that stuff are gonna be in for one hell of a rude awakening at about 4AM some day in the near future. IP addresses don’t care if you use your personal accounts or a brand new fake one. They’ll both bring you back to the same place. Only way to even try avoiding that is with a VPN. And that’s still not a guarantee to work.

Luke, wouldn’t purposely snagging a largemouth/smallmouth/spot be against state law from the perspective of catching gamefish in an unsportsmanlike manner? I could be wrong but I feel like I have read that in our state law. Paddlefish are the only fish that can be snagged. Just a thought

Luke if given a polygraph they would have both failed it likley and then that's the worst possible outcome. This was a hard way to learn the measure twice cut once but they will never ever ever that again.

45:10 BASS is using computer controlled artificial bass to test the integrity of their anglers now days. Just like the pigeons aren’t real conspiracy. 😂😂😂…. I have had that happen with 2 separate 3lb bass and a 1.5lb crappie in a little spring fed pond I fished as a kid when we took a job boat out on it one day. I guess they just hadn’t ever seen a shadow that big moving across the pond and all within about 10 seconds I got hit in the back by a bass, turned around and watched the next one land in the boat, got them picked up and here came the crappie before I could get the bass tossed back in.
