I was really hoping that Sonic would have unique interactions with Muttski in the new timeline since he is now a Mobian and he was Sonic’s pet in the pre Genesis wave universe and Sonic now remembered the old timeline

actually wrong, Sonic and everyone forgot the memories of the old world after some time passed, likely a few issues, and if you dont believe me check this out kzread.info/dash/bejne/gZxspbSko9Lboc4.html so yeah he wouldn't remember Muttski being a dog after the first time he saw him in the new universe

I like they gave the post Genesis wave Muttski the name Ben Muttski as a homage to Ben Hurst It’s quiet touching when you look at it like that

I'll be honest, I hope Ozzie gets roboticized in the third movie. He's had minimal plot relevance thus far outside a few cute scenes and having him fall victim to Robotnik's/3rd film villain's plans (if Jim Carrey doesn't return for the role) would be a good way to motivate the heroes to oppose them. It would also act as another SatAM tribute.

If Sonic came from Earth all along in the Paramount Sonic films (like he should have done, in my opinion), then Ozzie would have definitely been a homage to Muttski. Anyway, I have a feeling Ozzie will be a major character in Sonic 3.

I always love Muttski no matter what but only in his original non-anthro form.

I have a correction to make on what you said about Muttski in Sonic SatAM. He was actually mentioned in the episode, “Heads or Tails”, and he even made an appearance albeit robotocized.

@@MeltingMan234 You’re right. They did air them out of order. According to IMDb and Wikipedia, it aired as the Season 1 finale. The same thing happened with Season 2, actually; the first episode that aired just had Dulcy inexplicably there with no proper introduction, yet the second episode aired was the one where we are properly introduced to her.

Nice video mate, I first remember seeing Muttski in SATAM ,and how it showed the darker post-apocalyptic tones in the cartoon as opposed to the weird colourful feel of Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. One character I would like to see you do is Sir Connery who I don't know if he had many apperances. He was a cool-looking horse guy with a mustache and a sword and I remember how this is what my old OC would look like if he was a horse XD.

I actually made my own headcanon of Sonic where Muttski is Ben Muttski and is an anthropomorphic dog but as an Homage to how he was Sonic's pet he is Sonic's Adopted Cousin who Uncle Chuck adopted and although his first name is Ben he gose by Muttski

You know with all his friends being anthropomorphic animals, Muttski being able to talk somehow surprised the likes of Sonic.

3:08 This is when I first saw Muttski, when reading some of the later Archie comics I borrowed from the public library. I had no idea who he was, and now I do.

3:33 How is it weird for muttski to be a normal dog there been normal animals in sonic since sonic one. Even mickey mouse has a a pet dog or tmnt 2012 Raphael had a pet turtle. His reboot counter part just made him more useless he doesn't even have a relationship with sonic. It's like making froggy a mobini then made him apart of gun to so the gun commander can have a new friend instead Big.

You're right, non-anthro animals have been a part of the Sonic franchise since the very first Sonic game and I have no problem at all with that.

For the next ASCF can you take a look at mina mongoose, dulce the dragon or lupe the wolf cause the last two share some spotlight on sonic Satam and mina is an interesting character

Was about to say about animals and anthropomorphic animals here. Like Pluto being Mickey Mouse's dog. I still think it's all bogus and silly. I think early "issue zero" comics just like to go experimental in a lot of things; similar to how Felix the Cat would just put things in just for the sake of putting them in. However, I do enjoy the idea of him in hind legs standing up like everyone else. He's got some potential.
