They are 1 year late. When the US charity regulator declares your organization as 'delinquent', bans it from soliciting or disbursing charitable funds, and tells you its registration may be suspended or revoked, I would say it's pretty serious

In Australia, she let it be known that she thought she should be given "appearance money" for attending Official events. She just married into a different culture which was totally alien to her, but it won't happen again for the 3rd time.

The required fees and reports were not filed for 2022 and 2023. Shutting down a charity is the very last resort. They are given many, many notices and opportunities to comply. The May notice was the last opportunity.

Not mentioned in the report is that they aren't just delinquent for 1 year but 2 as this is the second year the required paperwork & fees have not been paid. As the AG's letter was issued May 3, they must have known they couldn't do any fund raising in Nigeria yet Archwell literature & meetings were held by them as well as for the Invictus Games. Hopefully the IRS will now do a complete forensic audit!

Online renewal doesn’t require sending check. If it was mailed in , it is very doubtful they received the form but not the check. And it take them months to sort this out ?

This timing looks awfull with their private visit in Nigeria under Archewell foundation, even if they can fix this issue. Nigerians are not pleased about their visit as well. Harry and Meg didn't focus on the real problems they face in that country.

If their mission is just to show up and by this, "do good", then it's little wonder Meghan got the shock of her working life when she went on the Royal Tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in 2018 representing the late Queen, only to be followed by The South Africa Royal Tour in early 2019. These tours are planned in great detail years in advance to showcase what the Host Nation wants to project to the World, be it local visits to schools, hospitals, factories etc., or official receptions, cultural displays, staged location photo-ops for tourism, sporting events etc. Ask the Press Corps who cover these tours, it's anything but an easy ride for them and all they have to do is keep up with all the events from mid morning to mid to late evening. Poor Meghan, no-one asked how she was feeling.

Nice that they went to Nigeria promising basketball courts from their charity that they cannot donate funds from! These two are absolute frauds! You need to look into his African Parks scandal as well...another charity of his going down the tubes!!

@@charityshadeogunro1866 actually a human rights group has submitted a request to the Nigerian govt to ascertain how various Nigerian depts funded the tour. A British High Commissioner did clarify that their visit was of a private nature and were not representing the Commonwealth or the Crown. In other words, someone needs to answer for the use of public funds for a private visit and apparently this visit was extremely expensive. Additionally, the visit under the Archewell Foundation umbrella may also be an issue due to its current delinquent status. The status of the foundation has been questionable since 2023.
