Thanks for this video lesson! I'm at an intermediate level, but there are always gaps in our knowledge. For example, I've never heard of أَلَم only وجع . And I didn't realize that there were two different greetings that were so similar but very different in meaning. Shukran kteer!

I am Palestinian and speak falahi dialect. For pain I always used to say waja3.. واجع. What's the difference between that a alam

Same thing in meaning, but: ألم←في الفصحة واجع←في اللهجات
