I like a lot this way!! Just a little suggestion: upload or put at the end the dialogue, so is we dont know some words, we can look up! ;)
Please continue to make more comprehensible input videos. It's awesome. Thank you so much.
This is fantastic! Exactly what I need, slightly above my level but I understood quite a bit thanks to the hints/help which is super exciting

This is exactly what I never knew I always needed. Thank you School of Yalla 🙌
thank youuuu so muuuuch! I really enjoy this new kind of video, it is so important to get used to the listening. Yes please, could you please think about the transcript for the next listening videos? :-) In arabic/english (transliteration no needed as I consider it as a very bad habit to learn ^^ ) . Greetings from Brussels - Belgium !
Thank you! We need more videos like this one
what a great concept it is! please bring more of it :)

Thanks-for sure!
This is great. Thankyou! I have been watching shows on netflix with the subtitles on in english. It really helps when the dialogue is fast ( yours is not too fast in these videos)
Oh that was brilliant ❤❤❤ Thank you, this is *exactly* what I need and is so hard to find
Thank you for doing these, it's the perfect level for me! ☺
Best of the best vídeos!! It makes me feel that I am indeed improving my learning!!! Many thanks and In Sha Allah i will take a full course at Yalla!!!❤
I was surprised at how much I understood. This is great practice!
The only suggestion we have is we want you to make more videos like this
This is so helpful so i dont rely on English or subtitles thank you! I use these to work on my listening skills
تكرم عينك! هالفيديوهات عظيم!
This is great! As you said, it is not for beginners, but it was perfect for me. Thanks!
This is an excellent video. I've been viewing so many different videos teaching Arabic, but this stands out from them all, Jazzak'Allah'Khair. Please kindly continue posting these types of videos. It's helping me get used to hearing the various words in Arabic.
Yes, this is so important!!
Oh, this is so helpful and important! I'm still a beginner but it was really motivating to be able to pick out words and phrases that I already know, and I can keep coming back as I improve to see how much more I understand
Loved it. Perfect speed and pronunciation. I was able to catch most of what you were saying from my lower intermediate level.
Great video, I'm a real beginner but you actually taught me words by only speaking arabic and i could follow the video partially, but I'm glad because this video shows me where I'm at and what more i could learn
im learning arabic by myself and i understood everything
That was actually amazing
Very good . This is how most people learn organically.
This immersion method is used if you can go to the country where the language is spoken, most language schools teach in the target language. Good job keep it up!
This video is fantastic!! Just what I need to improve my arabic, thank you very much!!

English speaker here: I am trying to work on distinguishing my Arabic consonants (well, and vowels). I found it helpful to repeat after you! look I couldn't understand the story, but the 3's (reyens) 8's (achks), and K's (*coff*s) really came across to me this time.
قصة حلوة 😊 And really nice concept! Hope there are more to come!

I am learning gulf/saudi arabic but I think I understood almost all of what you said!
Great video! A transcription of the text in the video below would be awesome:)

فكرة حلوة!
I understood the main points of the story and picked up on the meaning of vocab I haven’t heard before. But having subtitles in Arabic would be helpful to see how these words are written. So then I can note down new vocab accurately.
حبت كتير ! شكرا ! قصة بسيطة بس كل شي واضح. Some words and verbs new to me but through your mimic and through the right speed you choosed everything went in the right place in my brain. BRAVO!!!👍😉

MarHaba! I guess I would be considered a "late beginner". I've studied MSA irregularly for over a decade and recently finished two units (or 60 lessons; 1,800 minutes) of Levantine Arabic with Pimsleur. I understood many things in fragments from your story and I'm pretty sure I understood the overall gist but would you be able to share with us, in English, what you said so we can check our comprehension? Shukran jazeelan. This was really helpful.
It was good fun. I started to get you closer to the end. I’m sure some of the things were completely different to what I understand 😂
This is great, I've seen this done for other languages like you said so thank you for creating the first Levantine one! Possible to add English CCs so we can check our mistakes? Please and thank you 😊

I like the visuals but could you put words like (story) in Arabic. Or words we don’t use daily. I appreciate your speed of conversation it is very helpful distinguishing each word. Thank you
At 5:12, what does "maa isto" mean, and how would you write it in arabic? I'm not sure I've seen that verb before, though from context I assume it means "try on"

Is this the correct Arabic for when I go to Jordan and Palestine?
great video thank you
I just started an Arabic 101 class at a college. These videos where I can listen to the sound and speech are very helpful to me. This presentation was very good for understanding the flow of the speech. I recognized about 10 words from rhe whole thing!😅 I have an idea. Can you do one where you tell a story that we already know. Like some common children's story or tale, and tell us what the story will be, but speak the whole story in Arabic? Then we have an idea of what you are talking about but still only hearing Arabic. Shukran!

Lol when I first watched the video a few months back I felt like I only understood 10 words too haha! After rewatching it right now, I understood the whole thing. It'll be really rewarding after you continue practicing and return to this video and you get what it's saying
Could you please enable or add the subtitles to this video. I kinda see where you coming from with “just listen approach”, but in fact if we want to repeat after you or learn some parts of your stories and actually gain the new words, we need to somehow see the script and the translation to it. Or at least enable subtitles please 🙏 I think it’s a made up concern that people will switch on subtitles and will loose their portion of the experience as a consequence. If they don’t need the subtitles, they will not switch them on. Instead, if u add the subs u could really help pre-intermediate students.
some words that i understand اسود قميض ابيض حفلة
❤
I bit to early for me, but I will be back ❤
قصة مضحكة حلوة
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
With Subtitles it would be better.
I am missing the subs...
Enough english please
I know you want to make people listen, but without subtitules, this video becomes inaccesible to low level students :(
@schoolofyalla

This is meant for students who already have an advanced level and want to practise listening without relying on the visual too much. For beginner students there are other videos on the channel with subtitles or words laid out on the screen.

What languages are you learning?
Thank you, it helps. Maybe you can do videos with the whole story in english. Because if i read it first, I know what words I will expect. 🤔🐆🐢🍉🫐
